The London Inn

We booked this as a quick stopover and believed the reviews. How naive of us. Parking was nigh impossible. As we stood at the bar to check in no one even bothered to greet us. A dark haired girl in red t-shirt with holes in it blatantly ignored us. Then the barman told us to wait and he'd be with us after he'd served a customer. Whilst we waited a solitary customer sat picking his nose and eating the contents. We'd been told when booking we would be able to have an evening meal. The host told us we couldn't. He also said they were having a party for 40 chikdren that evening. We went through a maze of passages to our room. The noise from the music downstairs could be clearly heard. The bathroom was disgusting. The bath needed replacing and was hidden by an old, creased shower curtain. I could see the taps but no sign of a shower. We decided we couldn't stay and, forfeiting our money, we left. Realistically. had anyone wished to stay, I think £20 would have been an optimistic price.

This is a local pub with rooms. Was not busy in bar at anytime during our stay. Rooms were a little basic but comfortable. A cooked to order breakfast was included and was well presented and tasty. Staff/management were very accommodating service with a smile.

Amazing place food is outstanding and unbelievably priced, would highly recommend going just for the food , rooms are really nice and new tvs , only thing i would say is maybe get a firmer mattress on the single beds in the twin room. But other than the mattress i will definitely be staying again.
