The room has a strong sense of design. There is a restaurant downstairs. The commercial area is nearby. It is very convenient.

This was our second stay at Promenade 131. Absolutely beautiful hotel, with stunning g room and bathroom. Costly, but a treat for a special occasion. Unfortunately the private party last night below our room with loud music and chatter past 2.30am spoilt our night. I mentioned this at check out and was told to request a ‘quiet’ room next time? At over £250 night without breakfast, I’d have hoped for a better experience. Oh…and the little tray of nibbles on the table are payable… don’t get caught out like us and think they were a lovely complementary touch!

Lovely appointed rooms, however very noisy. Did ask for a room move was told fully booked. Honestly we feel this hotel is over priced considering the noise level at night within the rooms. ( we had booked 2 rooms in despite of room location all over it’s noisy). On check out receptionist Judit was very rude and had the attitude of whatever. The Japanese restaurant was great our host was beautiful wish I had her name. ( she was the only female on staff) very lovely person. Overall I would not stay at this hotel due to $$$ and noise level.

I stayed here as part of a family wedding party in June and I was very impressed. The great weather helped, but the location was great and the onsite bars were well equipped for outdoor dining/drinks. The decor and design is great, with every room unique and stylish. The super-king size bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was top notch. I would certainly stay again and Cheltenham itself was great.

Superb find, the staff were great at communicating prior to my arrival ,replying to my questions efficiently. On arrival, using the instructions sent in advance, finding the hotel was easy and likewise, there was plenty of parking options (I arrived at 6pm on a Thursday). The check in process was easy and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and well presented. It was functional and offered plenty of storage and amenities. The bed was huge but most importantly, comfortable and the pillows too were nice. The hotel is located in a superb spot, central with good views around, the on site restaurant and bar were tasteful and offered great variety and atmosphere. The staff in Yoku were great and the live entertainment at Gin and Juice was good with a good variety of choice. Overall a fantastic stay and a great find. I have already looked into returning for another stay!

Stayed for two nights - the email communication in the lead up from reception was fantastic. Very happy with the room, included gin glasses and cocktails. Bed unbelievably comfortable. Dinner at the hotel was very good as was the garden for cocktails.

No.131 was booked for us as a token of appreciation from our daughter and new son-in-law for our wedding gift to them. The hotel was quiet with quirky decor, but our room was perfect. Excellent shower and bathroom facilities, very comfy bed, coffee maker and comfy easy chairs. Breakfast in the marquee 'restaurant' was beautifully cooked and served by friendly staff. All in all, a very pleasant night stay.
