Except for the fact that transportation is very inconvenient, it is generally good. Perhaps due to the lack of personnel after Corona, the room is cleaned once every 3-4 days. They provide services such as changing towels upon request, but it is not resolved immediately, so you have to request it again.

Room smelled disgusting! The furniture was torn, the floor was damaged. Bedding was dirty. Found long hairs on sheets and pillowcases were stained. AC unit had constant high pitched noise. We also found food thrown around and a needle in the elevator. We told the staff and they didn’t seem concerned.

Nice spacious room. However … even though the sticker on the dishwasher said that “the dishes etc. inside are clean and ready to use”, it wasn’t the case. Dishes, cutlery and cups were still dirty (lipstick marks on the cups etc.) AND there was a BROKEN glass in there … which I eventually threw away. The door handle on the kitchen cabinet underneath the sink was missing a screw so it was just hanging there, not attached to the door anymore. Bathroom was nice and clean. The walls in general are thin … you hear everything… even screaming young kids who appeared to have an entire apartment to themselves as they were able to make noice and scream and knock on the walls at 1.30am in the morning until their mother came in to calm them down. This happened 2x during my stay … two nights in a row. Also, you only get Neutrogena bathroom amenities on the day of check-in. After that, you get shampoo/conditioner/body lotion from an eco (cheaper) brand. Location is pretty good though. Enough public transportation options nearby. Breakfast looked way better on the hotel’s website photos. I remember seeing a photo that pictured some nicely cut up veggies. Unfortunately, reality was different. The first two days there wasn’t even any waffle maker set up to use. There were only eggs, some meat, potatoes, bagels, cereals, cream cheese, peanut butter and fruit juices. Also, at times breakfast wasn’t even completely set up yet at 6 am (breakfast hours were 6-9.30 or 10 am, safe for Christmas day, NYE etc.). Such a bummer. Free coffee/tea was a plus. Also, when I checked in I was NOT told that the hotel’s pool was closed and that I had to use the Marriott/Fairfield (hotel across the road) if I wanted to have a swim. No reason was given and this was also NOT mentioned on the hotel’s website or anywhere on some kind of notice board at reception. So it was not cool that at one point I stood in front of a closed pool door in my bathing suit and a towel around me. One last thing to notice. Especially the afternoon/evening receptionists looked like they were not in the mood to work. They didn’t welcome you with a smile during check-in or asked whether everything was okay/went well when I checked out. Most of the time they were also just sitting in their little office instead of being at reception.

The check in was not as expected. We booked and had a confirmation for 2 queen size beds. We got a king and a sleeper sofa. The desk would not change the room. We were told the wifi code and it would not work. The front desk was not helpful. We had to have a promotion code that she did not give us but acted like we should have known that. Very frustrating. I would not recommend because of the front desk personnel.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! We, were "EXTREMELY" disappointed upon our arrival when our Uber driver, drove us through a alley to get to the Entrance of this hotel. #1. We noticed immediately (all) the Homeless people standing at the entrance door of this hotel. #2. When we tried to open the entrance door, we couldn't enter because the door was locked ( we, have NEVER been to a hotel, that we had reservations for & couldn't enter). #3. Upon, the front door clerk,buzzed us into the lobby,(we) noticed some more homeless"family" with alot of luggage. We had we wait 30 to 45 minutes before the clerk assisted,me. Once the clerk called me to the counter I explained to her that we had reservations, the clerk act like she couldn't find my reservation. After i showed her my reservation on my telephone, the clerk said Ok, you do have reservations, at which time I requested to see the suite in which i had reserved. She said Ok, then it took her 20 to 30 minutes before, she gave me a key see the suite. Upon, my son & I going into the suite, we noticed ALOT of NEGATIVE,issues with the suite. My "son" said to me : "mom, we can't stay here (I) don't feel safe,we need to get a better hotel & location & I agreed." So, we went back to the front desk, where I asked to speak with the Manager of the hotel. And explain to her these issues & why we "couldn't" stay at this location & ( I ) wanted to cancel (my) reservation. At which time the manager : Ms. CHAVONNE JOHN'KEN, told me, that she understood my concerns & proceeded to cancel my reservation. Ms, JOHN'KEN, was "extremely, professional & apologized" for the long wait & rude behavior of the clerk.

We booked the king suite for our daughters birthday weekend. We chose this hotel because it advertised having a bar, pool, and full kitchen in our room. The pool was closed. They didnt even have a sign on it to say so, then we were told we could walk down the block in 50 degree weather. Our "full kitchen" had 1 fork and 1 knife for a family of 4 to share. Limited dishes as well. Bar was closed. Every single amenity we booked this hotel for was unavailable and never disclosed to us before our stay.
