Located on a roundabout so very noisy.
No aircon and it is a really hot hotel, so hot they don’t bother supplying duvets.
Breakfast was v poor, rehydrated mushrooms, cheap sausages, coffee machine was broken, the juice dispenser was filled with water…..
Not impressed, please don’t waste your money staying here.

Cheap and nasty unfortunately. Just about palettable for one night but unless you are desperate, go elsewhere. The room was pretty dirty and had stains etc. Not good enough

Just a one night stay ahead of work the following day. Our team of 7 were fantastically accommodated by Rihanna who was working the kitchen solo. She advised us of meal delivery and was friendly and very efficient. The food was excellent and I really enjoyed the steak & ale pie. All of our party were pleased with her excellent service.

The room stank of damp but as we were in a rush to meet family for dinner elsewhere we didn’t have time to switch rooms. Our hair and clothes stank of damp after a nights sleep in the room. There were stains on the pillows, the bath had engrained dirt on it and the extractor fan was covered in dust. The front staff manning the bar were also miserable and made us wait 35 mins to get a drink after telling us they would only be 15 mins as they were in the middle of cashing up. When they did come back they didn’t even announce they were serving!

Room and staff very helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Only downside was price. Admittedly it was a Saturday night, but £90+ was a bit expensive. Only 10 min walk from cricket ground ans Aldi close by to stock up on supplies for next day at cricket!

After reading other reviews I was a little worried. I went ahead and booked as there wasn’t availability anywhere else. Everything was fine! Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. No issues!
