A lovely hotel in Cognac. Wonderful views from terrace over surrounding countryside. Great breakfast and first class customer service. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Un hôtel combinant avec goût architecture traditionnelle et décoration contemporaine (street art. Très bon rapport qualité prix des chambres et très bonne table de restaurant, on peut dîner dehors sur une superbe terrasse avec vue. Le jardin respectueux en contrebas de l'hôtel est très agréable à découvrir.

A 10 minutes en voiture du centre de Cognac, belle demeure dans un écrin de verdure. Personnel charmant à tous niveaux, petit-déjeuner de qualité faisant la part belle aux produits locaux ce qui est très appréciable, restaurant bistronomique agréable et de qualité. La partie hôtelière a quelques faiblesses : Si la surface et la vue des chambres de luxe sont agréables, la salle de bain mériterait un sacré coup de jeune, la télévision aussi et l'absence de réfrigérateur n'est pas au niveau d'un 4 étoiles. C'est même gênant en été. On apprécie en revanche l'excellente literie et les massages au spa. L'hôtel n'est pas parfait, mais l'endroit reste charmant.

Espace bien être cassé, Télévision coincée donc depuis le lit on ne la voyait pas complètement. Aucune compensation. Restaurant hors de prix (plus de 100€ pour deux sans menu complet (entrée/plat/dessert/boisson) au vu de la qualité/quantité. Nous sommes plus proche d’un restaurant type classique, les prix devrait donc être bien plus bas. Tarif non justifié. Sinon endroit agréable, terrasse magnifique, décoration atypique et originale.

L’accès à l’établissement est carrément « laborieux » au milieu d’une zone commerciale 👎👎 Mais il faut persévérer car l’hôtel est situé dans une oasis de verdure surplombant la Charente ; un mélange d’ancien et de moderne Très bien entretenu et une mention pour la restauration

After a long day arrived at Chateau L’Yeuse. A beautiful setting with views over the charente river. Our room was cool and really comfortable. Its a lovely place to stay with a large bar, restaurant, veranda with far fetching views and a swimming pool. All good and all lovely… so whats my negatives….. The,place is rather tired and it just needs a bit of money injected into it. Staffing was not good, it took for ever to even find anyone when we wanted an afternoon drink from the bar…reception was often just empty and there was a note on the desk to phone if you wanted someone. As we didnt have connection to france on our mobile that made the request impossible, and luckily a French guest also looking for staff was able to call. The receptionist who did turn up seemed almost surprised to have been called. The view from the veranda is being lost to the trees that need cutting and the path in the grounds walking down towards the river was so overgrown we turned back.. however dinner was superb and delicious and the setting on the veranda was great. I would go back to stay as a stopping off point, but one night is enough.

Nous avons séjourné une nuit dans ce charmant hôtel, je n’en retiens que du positif. Nous avons été surclassé dans une suite avec vue sur la Charente, cette suite est très spacieuse, bien équipée et la literie d’un grand confort. La douche XXL est très agréable. Les espaces communs sont d’une propreté sans bémol, la décoration est soignée, la terrasse très agréable. Nous avons également dîné à l’hôtel et avons pu profiter de la carte d’été aux produits locaux et de saison. L’espace spa est bien entretenu. L’ensemble du personnel a été aux petits soins et d’une extrême gentillesse. La piscine est très agréable par ces chaleurs. Cet hôtel est un véritable havre de paix où vous êtes pris en charge du petit déjeuner au dîner dans un cadre reposant où tout est pensé pour le confort du client. Un grand merci pour cette parenthèse enchantée.

Nous sommes allés dans cet endroit pour nos 3 ans ☺️ nous avions la chambre numéro 19 colibris Très jolie chambre, la literie est superbe par contre la clim bouah fait un bruit du tonnerre, nous l'avons arrêté pour la 2 eme nuit Le buffet du petit déjeuner est très bien avec des produits locaux et très bons. Nous avons appréciés la diversité des produits Le coin est super jolie même si nous n'avons pas eu le temps ni l'envie de visiter plus, c'etait surtout un WE détente Le dîner fût une très belle découverte tous les plats étaient excellents et nous avons été très bien guidés pour l'accompagnement en vin ☺️ bravo au cuisto et aux équipes !! Mon conjoint avait pris également massage d'1h.... celui-ci a été très bien mais je dois noter le tarif exorbitant, d'autant plus qu'un supplément de 10e a été ajouté car nous souhaitions être massés ensemble...chose qu'on a fait mais séparé, chacun dans une cabine ce qui est fort dommage....nous avons l'habitude de ce genre de prestation et 200e on trouve cela cher... Le SPA est sympa, petit mais tout y est, l'espace piscine est un plus, dommage que celle-ci ne soit pas chauffé pour les frileuses comme moi 😀 En bref une jolie pause amoureux pour nous ! Et encore un tonnerre d'applaudissements pour le dîner du soir Le personnel est tous gentils, souriants c'est agréable Bonne continuation a tous
