This place is tired and run down. Spartan room, no bedside tables, no dining or breakfast option at the moment despite being listed, and it looks like the “renovations” have stalled. Close road traffic noise regardless of room. Suggest trying elsewhere.

A nice property but very noisy. The rooms have a door to another room (locked) but it is thin. I spent two nights listening to the person next door snoring. Generally noisy too.

Was disappointed with check in. Plus renovations were not disclosed prior to booking! Edi was rude when she spoke to me, as if it was an effort to assist me. After being on the road travelling all day and then being treated poorly when checking in, it is first impressions that count and stay with you. Then a car being parked in my car space! Another person had parked in my allocated car parking space why? The curtains were very worn-out, there were holes in them and the shower had low water pressure... Plus there were fire pyrotechnics being set off in the early morning to frighten the flying foxes away. 6am

I always stay at the park motel when visiting charters towers, its location is within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The statf are always polite and helpful. The reception ladie aka simone is always accommodating polite and helpful.

Very comfortable
The rooms are dated, however, in fairness they are doing major renovations and obviously working through each room. The service was extremely friendly and the rooms were very clean and tidy. Also the bed was very comfortabe. Would certainly stay there again

The room was great value for money, super helpful staff and fairly quiet after dark.
We will be staying again for sure as we explore the town further as a tourist ☺️
