Such a lovely stay. All rooms have now been updated and felt very clean, cozy and a lovely vibe. I was in the Dali room and every thing about my stay was perfect. Staff I spoke to were all lovely and very attentive especially Maggie. Nice pub garden as well

Really enjoyed our stay here - the venue was part way through a refit but still open. Our en-suite room (Louis) was large, luxurious and very comfortable with a four-poster tester bed, quirkily furnished and overlooking the garden at the rear of the property. We ate in the pleasantly furnished restuarant in the evening - the food was very good and reasonably priced, the service helpful and friendly. We chose to sit indoors looking out over the garden and patio.

It’s a lovely place and the staff are great menu small but varied the only problem is the food and drinks prices are so expensive a bottle of Merlot wine house £28,50 supermarket price £8.50 I don’t feel there is any need for this I will think twice before I go back that’s for sure

Bar and dining area look very smart Stayed in the newly refurbished Louis room - it was fab. Very grand - had everything you needed including a four poster bed Hotel was quiet overnight I would rate this excellent but on arrival we found out that Mon-Fri the breakfast has now been downgraded to a continental one - it was OK but not the best. Very carb / sugar based ('normal' sliced bread, cereals, fruit). Tea was weak as was the coffee. i would recommend you add in yoghurt, meat, cheese to ensure some can have a protein based start to the day. There is an attractive dining area but we were in the bar... few tweaks could make a lot of difference

We have visited here regularly over the last few years and it is without doubt the best. Each time we eat here it gets better, today was exceptional. 6 people and 6 clean plates, I had the lamb rump with hassleback potatoes, broccoli, carrot purée with jus. The lamb was like butter so soft and tender, seasoning was on point. Everyone else’s dinner was excellent

Very friendly relaxed and welcoming . Cannot comment on breakfast as we had to leave early. We did have lunch on arrival and the Fish Share Platter was amazing .
