Rothley Court Hotel by Greene King Inns

Rothley Court hotel is such a stunning place to stay. If you're into historical buildings, jam packed with character then this is definitely the place for you. The buildings are incredible and so picturesque, as are the grounds. The staff are all very polite and professional, and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The food is delicious and there are plenty of options. I particular enjoy the roast dinners. They have an outdoor seating area which is fabulous when its nice out.

The building is beautiful and surroundings lovely. The staff were all great especially the waitress on dinner and breakfast service. The food was actually pretty good - piping hot, tasty and good value for money. Breakfast was lovely although we stuck to hot food as there was hardly any continental left when we arrived at 9.30am and what was left had flies all over it. There was a wedding on the day we arrived so there was a lot going on but it meant the main restaurant was virtually deserted at night which suited us just fine. What let this hotel down, for us, was the room. It was small, stuffy, dark and noisy and the bathroom was like something from a hospital … just desperately sad looking and in real need of refurbishment .. taps were very loose, thought they were going to come off and they were covered in scale and brown mush, toilet seat was wobbly and looked like about to fall off and just looked dingy as a whole. Such as shame as like over guests have said there is such potential and just really let down by the rooms which are in need of some tender loving care. Maybe because we were not wedding guests we were put in a rubbish room .. who knows. Pity as this does mean we would not stay again as it was definitely not worth £150 for a night B&B … we could get something far better elsewhere.

Fantastic Location - absolutely stunning. Good came fast bought out by Maya, lasagne was cooked to perfection and garlic bread was crispy and tasty. Had a Biscuit Cheesecake which was bought out by Morgan and it was the perfect end to an impressive and fairly priced meal. I was spoilt for choice by the drink selection and bar service was quick and efficient done by Zak. 5/5 would love to come again!

Having a great stay at Rothley Court, Room is good and the food was good, We had an enjoyable evening in the bar ,with excellent service and conversation with David the barman, he has a great knowledge of the history of Rothley Court and it is always good to see he is still here each time we arrive!

Stunning building and grounds. So much history. The chapel is incredible and links to the Knights templar so interesting. The food was very good, Sunday roast was fab. Bar area had some nice areas to sit, drinks are pricey. Breakfast was extremely good
