Little Court

Wonderful, our second stay here, and I’m sure it won’t be the last. Swimming pool and tennis court, coupled with a large walled garden laid to grass. View from our bedroom window attached. Great nights sleep and really tasty full English breakfast, coupled with great serve from Amanda and her staff. Thank you..

Had a lovely stay at Little Court. A warm welcome, great facilities, and a comfortable peaceful stay. A lovely amble into town passing the local pub, The Sun Inn onwards into town alongside the river. Excellent breakfast. Would absolutely recommend to family and friends.

Having read the earlier reviews, I had high expectations, which unfortunately were not met. The positives I found were as follows the host was very welcoming. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the linen was exceptional. The negatives I found are as follows. There is not a lot to do in the area. There is no lift, and our room had a number of steps to negotiate. The room had very light curtains, which meant there was light streaming through the window from 4.30 am.making sleep an impossibility. Blackout blinds / curtains are a must. The room was a double but had a single wardrobe, which meant space was very limited . The room did not have a fridge. No space/ shelf to store ones toiletries in the bathroom. The vanity mirror in the bathroom required a bulb replacing.

Fantastic stay to mark a special occasion. We had a very posh room with a four poster bed- a real treat! All the facilities were fantastic; you can even borrow tennis racquets and in the summer, there's a pool. We walked into Dorchester for a meal out and there's a nice path parallel to the main road, enabling a safe route when a bit tipsy! The room was very clean, well equipped and a really relaxing space. The host Amanda was very friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was perfect 👌. Only slight surprise was the shower didn't have much pep and wasn't anything special for accommodation that really is special.

My husband and I had a great overnight stay at this lovely B & B! Thanks to Amanda and her team. The property is stunning, and has kept all its old charm. We loved it! We played some tennis in the gardens, it’s not flowering yet but everything seems to be there, promising to bloom very soon, we imagine it’s stunning in the spring and summer when everything is blossoming. There’s also a nice looking swimming pool - a bit too cold right now, and obviously closed for the winter, we were sure it would be amazing to be back here in the spring/summer. Great cooked and continental breakfast, We would most definitely stay here again!!
