I’ve been here 30 mins for a 7 hour stay before an early flight and I want to leave already. As we were about to check in another guest appeared gobbing off about a tv they still wasn’t working in his room. The poor guy behind reception couldn’t have been more polite. On to dinner. I’ve just eaten a chicken burger and had to stab it 7 times as part of it was still flapping on the plate. The chips look like they’ve been microwaved 3 times over. I’m about to drive to the nearest chemist for some Imodium as I can feel the recently killed chicken working its way through my system already. Can’t wait to sleep in the dungeon of a room we’ve been given. It’s a good job we’re only here for another 5 hours!! Never again.

The first room we were allocated was damp and smelt mouldy with no opening windows. The size of the room was pitiful for two grown adults. After complaining we were offered a very slightly bigger room but there was no evidence of mould and there was a window. On our return from abroad we agreed to accept a disabled room and this was way bigger and better than the last two. Staff were very unhelpful and watched as my elderly friend struggled with her suitcase. We had to ask for help. The 20 pound shuttle is not correct as both taxis added an extra 50p claiming it was to park outside the airport. The breakfast was so poor we did not bother to go the second day. Everything tasted cheap and of low quality. I was asked a couple of times my room number to ensure I had a right to be there which came across as insulting. The parking is definitely at your own risk and some places are risky to park. I was worried as to whether I would come back and find a dent in my car. Not a great experience. I must say as a plus Hazen a receptionist was very polite and helpful over the phone and the black male receptionist was very professional.

Stayed 1 night whilst visiting friends. Room was a small double, NO window just a skylight. No aircon, just a fan. The day time temperature was 32⁰. Sleeping was impossible! The barh was narrow and impossible to shower in as the light weight curtain kept sticking to me. Breakfast was passable but cold!

1st room we were given on ground floor the handle fell off the door as we tried to enter. Then given another room on 2nd floor. No lifts and we had heavy luggage. It was very hot and there was no air con, just fans. Do not bother with the evening carvery! Worse we have ever had. Food was cold, low quality and just awful.

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night following a visit to Nyman’s. Very good value budget hotel . Clean with friendly staff. From the outside (side view) it needed a but of tlc & inside the reception was traditional dark wood . However the corridors & room was decorated in light colours. Very comfortable Bar & dining room . Our room was pleasant , very clean, with tea & coffee making facilities. Plenty of plug sockets, two of which had USBA sockets. The bed was comfortable for me , but husband thought a little firm. Lovely crisp cotton sheets. Bathroom was clean , nice soft white towels . Soap & shower gel provided. Every member of staff we spoke to was really helpful and friendly.

Stayed as a family the night before a very early flight. Although the hotel is run down, we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room however the double bed bed was hard, and the bunk beds creeked on every small movement and the rooms very warm. On top of this, we were woken twice in the night by the fire alarm going off, and then a large group of loud resident contractors congregated outside our window for what seemed like hours smoking on return from their night out. All in all, not a pleasant stay, but you get what you pay for!

Myself, my partner and our 7 month old stayed here the night before our flight at the start of this month. For what we needed it for , it was ok. Check in was easy, car parking was fine, close to airport, easy to get a taxi in the morning and way back. The actual hotel itself is pretty run down, the fire alarm went off various times during the night, we asked for a baby’s cot and they did have one available but was completely unsafe to use as the metal bars were all sticking out and it had no base whatsoever. So bring a travel cot with you if you need one!! I would definitely recommend this hotel if your if your on a budget and looking for somewhere to stay before your flight. Just don’t let your baby near the travel cots.

Check in and out was easy! Slightly gives off shining vibes but no issues! Room was clean, food areas were popular, staff were friendly! Parking was with an attendant and done with ease! No problem! However the bed was not to our taste as it was quite hard which we didn’t find comfy. We paid about £60 to stay here for 1 night and this also included leaving our car there for 2 weeks! It was very popular with this and I would definitely recommend! Only thing I would recommend you do not do is… park under a tree!!
