Great hotel but the manager of the hotel was a rude. I think his name was Francois, he had an attitude and was rude .He really needs to freshen up on his customer service skills. Other then him the hotel and trip was amazing besides his attitude. The valet was amazing James helped with our luggage and packed our car . He was a gentleman and very kind. When we went to leave we didn't have to wait long at all,and he was back with our car.. I really believe the manager can learn a few things from James, to be honest Like I said I gave it 4 stars just because the managers attitude, if it wasn't for that it would have been 5 because the valet service was good and the hotel was really nice

Seamless experience of valet service and checking in/ out. The staff was pleasant and fully knowledgeable. I enjoyed my time their because it was also located near university of Virginia. The area was perfect for food and walking. They offered bottled water on my way out, and I thought it was a nice touch compared to my travels with Marriott.

The room looks worn out. Carpet stains everywhere. The chairs have stains. The mattress cover doesn't even fit the bed. My wife and I were really looking forward to staying here. The pictures on the website must be old pictures. And last for $600 avg per night, not even disposable slippers are given or offered. It's a avg. Hotel.

Really, really nice, from the valet (reasonable $25 nightly) to the front desk staff. Room super clean and nice, beds outstanding, short walk to campus and restaurants and shops. Worth the extra few bucks to stay here.

Nice location. Comfortable rooms. However, the bathroom vent was on all the time and disturbed our sleep. We were on the 10th floor, and there was literally no way of turning the noise off.

Stay here several times a year. The rooms are nice and bathrooms are great. Some of the rooms are getting scratched up and need some TLC. Our shower has a basket that is falling off the tile. Elevator walls need re- varnished. These are things that make a fabulous hotel stand out from a decent one. For example, I was here a month ago when it was extremely hot outside and they had big bowls of water bottles on ice. This time they had no waters at all and it was 100 degrees. Also sone of the snacks in our room have dates for use that are expired. This is not something I would expect.
