Beautiful hotel! Front desk very friendly,especially Latasha! My request for a quiet room was granted. The 6th floor in low numbers is good. I stayed 3 nights for work and my room was SPOTLESS! The mattress was firm, my pillows fluffy. I especially loved the slippers because I forgot mine. Upon arrival Franklin helped me with my luggage and on a rainy day my umbrella was in my car. He kindly gave me one. The only drawback was the Valet parking. They're very good at what they do but I wish there was maybe off-site parking. $18 is a bit steep, I walked to work so I paid for my car to be parked. The morning coffee in the lobby was very good. I didn't get a chance to eat at restaurant Ridley but the aroma sure smelled good. I would definitely stay here again. The lobby's decor and seating was very comfortable.

Had a very nice, brief stay at the Draftsman over homecoming weekend. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Room service was great and the entire staff was friendly, particularly Anthony N at the valet stand. Will definitely return next time I'm in cville.

We stay here for a couple of nights twice a year traveling through Charlottesville. Always a pleasure and the valet staff is the best ever. Chris T, was courteous, and efficient. We enjoy the food, service and convenience of The Ridley. We already look forward to our next visit in a few months.

We stayed at the Draftsmen on our wedding night and had an incredible room. Thank you so so much especially to Dean who went above and beyond and helped me get my quite inebriated husband up to our hotel room ;) Dean was also a hit with all of our guests - thank you for being so attentive and taking care of everyone. We were so happy to have our wedding block at the Draftsmen - our guests could not stop commenting on how wonderful all of the staff was. We will be back!!!

Valet and check in were smooth. Jerry brought our stuff to our room and he was helpful, friendly and professional. Room was clean and modern. The location of the hotel is great, with restaurants, cafes and shopping all within walking distance.

Jerry was so professional and phenomenal at check in!!! Such an easy check in! Highly recommend the Draftsman! It’s also in a fabulous location! I will definitely stay here again and tell everyone I know to stay here. The hotel has great amenities, too!

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. The service was superb from the front desk, to the valet, and doormen. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay while our son was at a baseball camp at UVA. If we return to Charlottesville, we will happily stay here again.

Can’t beat this modern hotel for service, cleanliness, location and room comfort. Located in distance to several terrific restaurants and UVA. Hotel staff all friendly and helpful from front desk to parking, bellmen, parking and cleaning staff.

So very impressed with the staff at this hotel. From the moment I pulled my car up to the door to the moment I checked out, the valet, the front desk, the housekeeping staff, and the restaurant staff have gone out of their way to be friendly, kind, and proactively helpful. The hotel itself is inviting in a comfortably modern way, perfectly located next to UVA and the Corner. My new favorite Charlottesville hotel. Would highly recommend
