June 28, 2024. Excellent staff . The valet, Michael Turner, is the most wonderful and helpful hotel employee I have ever met. The location is right in the heart of downtown with great restaurants and nearby museums . The lobby is inviting and comfortable with a full bar !

When I visit a destination, I prefer boutique hotels that truly reflect the community they are in. If you're coming to Charlotte for pleasure or business, The Dunhill is the best bet. Located in what the locals call the "uptown" area (which is really just the downtown), this boutique hotel makes you feel right at home from the minute you walk in. It's intimate, but there is a buzz in the air that makes you feel you're staying at the "in" place in town. It's an independent hotel (and a member of Historic Hotels of America) so the experience is far from cookie cutter. Aside from the understated decor, what I like most about The Dunhill are the comfy beds, great pillows and a bathrobe in every room! I slept like a baby, one of the best night's sleep I have had in a long time. There is also a coffee maker, nightly turn-down, free Wi-Fi and a mini-fridge in all rooms. The only downside is that there is little space in the bathrooms for your toiletries. The hotel is in the perfect location. You can walk everywhere, which I really appreciate. It's near some great restaurants and bars including 5 Church and Dandelion Market. Plus, it has a great restaurant of its own, The Asbury - absolutely a must when you're there. Next time I'm in Charlotte, you bet I'll be at The Dunhill!

Hotel ancien, très central . chambre vaste meublée de façon un peu démodée, belle salle de bain. Wi fi gratuit, télévision, mini bar. Bon petit déjeuner. Hélas climatisation bruyante, pas de double vitrage et bruit de la rue même dans les étages élevés, chambre avec mauvaise isolation acoustique on entend les conversations du couloir .

I stayed with the Dunhill Hotel for a conference. From the time I arrived, until I checked out I felt safe and secure. From the aminities to the staff, I felt welcomed and pampered. The breakfast was just enough. And the ceramic coffee cups,bathrobes,and umbrella in the room were great perks. I can't begin to recommend this hotel enough.

Recommend hotel better communication on paeking rules. I paid 3x because I didn’t have a parking card to validate? Even on checkout they acknowledged it was confusing but did nothing to fix the problem. Other than that charming hote

My wife and I recently had a very nice one night stay at the Dunhill in Charlotte. The parking deck was very convenient and the location was perfect for us to attend a special event in a park early on a Saturday morning. Our room was quaint and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. After seeing some reviews with guest complaints about street noise, I was a little apprehensive about restful sleep. The street noise on this night was never an issue and we didn’t hear anything that disturbed our rest. Our dinner in the Dunhill’s restaurant was also very good. After the meal we walked around uptown Charlotte and found a great cookie place just a block or two away from the hotel. The few interactions we had with staff were very pleasant. Based on our experience, I would recommend the Dunhill to anyone visiting Charlotte.

Room needed more lighting. Friendly, professional, and helpful staff.
Bar was nice, live music was a nice touch. Very pleasant bar tender. He gave us some good tips for restaurants in the area.
The restaurant in the hotel is small, but we enjoyed our breakfast in the cozy dining room.
