This hotel was absolutely horrible the elevators closed on me while walking out of it then the elevators was down after the whole trip. We had to use the service elevator and it was nasty dirty very very disappointed in this stay . The staff was so apologetic and nice but hotel needs to be shut down this is a lawsuit brewing. Elevator doors hurt !!!! Water on the floor to service elevator almost busted my tail. I have never been in a place so bad.

The hotel was nice , Adrian Rachal and St Claire were extra nice and helpful. We enjoyed all the breakfast man was very kind. Didn't like the fact that our room wasn't serviced but 1 day and that's because we asked. Not good cleaning service!!!! You all continued to be blessed, and please keep the people I named great hospitality! More Grace 🙏🏽

This hotel is convenient, but not in a great area for safety. I would not stay here as a solo female traveler. It is a cool older style, but needs some updating. There were broken floor tiles near the icemaker, and the bathrooms look like the “upgrade” was done by a handyman, not a professional. Poor quality. The walls are also paper thin, which is fab when the couple next door are being intimate on one side, and the other side has a couple fighting at 2:30 in the morning. You can hear EVERYTHING! The front desk attendants were so nice, but we won’t be back.

First of all, false advertising! They don't offer airport shuttle service 24/7 as listed on ******* and other sites. They stop the shuttles at 10pm and if you arrive at 10:05 they're gone and refuse to go back as it happened to me. I called the front desk to say I was waiting for the shuttle since 10:05 and they put the driver on the phone and he said "sorry I stopped at 10 get an uber". Just like that! Then they also say the shuttle leaves the hotel every hour on the hour so I showed up at 10:50am to catch it to the airport and it was already gone again, so I had to Uber once more. Moreover, my room was supposed to be a king but they gave me two doubles and didn't care to switch me or accommodate me in any way. Absolutely horrible customer service. It didn't even matter that I'm a Hilton Honors member for 20+ years. Finally, it's under construction so the pool area is not accessible but they don't say it up front either. I also asked for a late check out and cleaning ladies came in early and woke me up which is why I ended up leaving before 11. Don't rent here!

Hotel in need of a major overhaul. So old. Front desk clerk who checked me in was very snarky just because I stopped at the desk to check because I had done mobile checkin. I mentioned I always like to make sure all is ok and he rolled his eyes at me. Room had no cups for any type of drinking water or coffee. Air unit sounded like a jet plane. The cherry on top was there signature cookies were a bag of mush as they had been in their warmer so long they absorbed condensation. So disappointing compared to the brand

I have never stayed in a worse hotel in my life. The AC has been broken for 5 days since I checked in and has supposedly been fixed everyday only to come back to it still 80 degrees in the room. Was offered a 10 voucher from the manager. Thanks man that really does a lot. Actually the worst ran hotel I’ve ever stayed at stay away.

My stay at the hotel was very disappointing. My room was booked back in February with 2 beds upon arrival I was told the room was sold and I could either take 1 bed & receive 10% off or go elsewhere. The room was dirty, and the bedding looked like it hadn’t been changed since the previous guests and blood was on the sheets. Joe the front desk Manger was really rude & dismissive when i informed him of the issues.The air conditioning didn’t work, and a complaint was made but Joe ignored the complaint. I felt discriminated against due to my skin color because a guest came after me of a different race and Joe fully accommodated them. The staff on the morning shift was very helpful during checkout. I am very disappointed I would also suggest you look into room 615 due to the air conditioning & cleanninest.

Doubletree by Hilton South Charlotte Tyvola did not disappoint! Traveled to Charlotte for this weekend’s concert and felt at home immediately. With a smile, Alesia greeted me as a Hilton Honors guests, confirmed our connecting rooms, gave us hotel and restaurant details and most importantly, had warm cookies waiting! From that initial meeting with her, everyone we had contact with was the same! Thank you Alesia, Artis, Antarian and Corey for your courtesy and attention! This was hands down our favorite accommodations so far in the Charlotte area. Rooms and hallways were clean and spacious. Bed comfortable and great location. Only request that would put it over the top is if the rooms had a microwave. But we will be back!
