Old facility. Food too expensive and bad. Air conditioner light is really annoying and bright right in front of the beds.

Nice place- but my room NEVER got maid service and I had to fetch my own clean towels. They must charge extra for hot water-- since there was none in this shower-- despite calling the hotel's attention to it twice. I first tried to CALL reception but... the phone had no dial tone. Reception just said, "I only do the beach towels"... and never even recorded my complaint. Second try got as shrug and "I'll file for maintenance." Food was on par but you will wait forever for it to find you. Bottom line- on my "never again" list because of the ABSENCE of service and lack of basics (like a warm shower- or maid service). On a scale of 100 Emerald Beach gets a 15 for location (after a small deduction for airplane noise (the runway id literally at the foot of the property) and zeros for facility overall and service. Find another place to stay.

this was a great place to stay for a couple of days before our sail and after our sail The staff was friendly and helpful. the price is right.

This hotel is located in an excellent location close the airport, supermarkets, nice restaurants and downtown. It also has a great beach and the amenities are good. However, I am not satisfied with the customer service I received. I stayed there for 2 nights and on the first night I had not hot water in my room. The next morning I reported it to the front desk, at which time they apologized and said they would fix the situation. The second night I realized that there was still no hot water in my room and when I called the front desk they told me that maintenance was gone for the day. Therefore, I did not have hot water in my room for my entire stay. Totally unacceptable!

Great location, beautiful beach, nice pool. Clean. Little outdated for a price but overall great stay.

It feel short for everyone on my cab. First of all the way it is advertised its completely different than what it is. I initially wanted to do Ritz Carlton but decided to save money and go here. First of the benefits was the quick drive which was great. When they dropped us off everyone was like this cant be right this is not the airport beach. Since they made sure not to mention that. Than the dropped us off which looked like an area that was not a beach and didn't tell us where to go just when they were picking us up so we were walking all confused. Supposed to be umbrella and chair well there was no guidance on where to get them from. The bar staff was rude and said even though they have how many cruisers dropped off could not be bothered to tell us where to get them before vaguely saying look for the guy in dreads no name just that description. There was boxed garbage everywhere and than since it was public beach a man made sure to come to my mom and harass her and than come back and sit by us. The only thing I saw near our hotel by the way hotel was closer to a motel and really was in disarray and needed fixing up, was a guy selling just juice and soda. Now I am Caribbean I expected someone grilling local drinks etc. We saw someone who was on our boat and they took a 6 dollar taxi and I was pissed. If I realized that I would of paid that and wouldnt be so mad but this excursion is a hoodwink to people. The beach itself yes is stunning but the grounds are dirty.
