LOVED this place! our room was great and very nicely furnished, the staff was wonderful--helpful, and full of information about charleston, and the location was walking distance from much of the stuff you want to see in charleston. the amenities (and i don't just mean those very nice little things they stock the bathroom with) were unexpected and welcome: a small and beautifully furnished common sitting area in which to enjoy a very nice breakfast; arnold palmers, infused water, and coffee/tea during the day; an enviable wine-and-cheese spread for a couple of hours at cocktail time; and cookies and milk later in the evening. parking is private and right outside the door. and there's a lovely atrium patio that invites you outside for a quiet sit. a class act--all the way. if only more small boutique hotels were as good as this one is!

Great hotel with a central location. I love the happy hour with free snacks and wine! The rooms are clean and spacious. The parking lot is a bit tight and is located at the back of the hotel, but it works. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of an encounter with the morning receptionist. He was rude and completely ignored me when I said "good morning" three times. At first, I thought he didn't hear me, but when he looked at me on the third attempt, he lowered his head as if I was annoying him by saying "good morning." Maybe it was just a tough morning for him, or perhaps it was too early (around 6:40 am). Regardless, as a hotel receptionist, it's important to smile and greet customers at all times.

Wonderful hospitality! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. There was an error with our reservation on my part, and the evening manager went above and beyond to accommodate us and make sure our stay was smooth. Will definitely return!

We absolutely loved our stay at this quaint and beautiful Charleston hotel! It truly captures the charm of the city while offering great value. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with thoughtful touches throughout. Breakfast was ample and delicious, and we especially appreciated the complimentary fruit, tea, coffee, and infused water available all day. The evening cocktail reception was the perfect way to start our nights, and although we missed the cookies and milk most evenings, it was such a sweet gesture. The location couldn’t be better—an easy walk to the City Market, King Street shopping, and the horse-drawn carriage rides. For places a bit farther out, we usually enjoyed walking there and simply took Ubers back. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a true Charleston experience with comfort, convenience, and charm

The location is very convenient, and they provide breakfast and snacks/wine throughout the day, which is very nice, despite breakfast being minimal. The room was not clean and the AC struggled to keep the room temp comfortable. Mattress was cheap and uncomfortable. When we came back to hotel after a hot and sweaty day, we found no toiletries in the shower, and when we asked for them we were told they ran out of shampoo and shower gel! I couldn’t believe it!!!

What an amazing atmosphere! Quaint and intimate setting for couples. The courtyard is majestic. The trees and the waterfall makes it a must for breakfast and happy hour. The staff was amazing and the rooms were super clean. Best yet, it’s in walking distance to almost everything! We are going back there for sure.

Everyone at The Jasmine House was outstanding. The food was delicious. The accommodations were very comfortable. have already referred friends and will definitely be back!
