The Hotel was incredibly convenient. A short Uber ride from the historic center. The breakfast was adequate. The check-in staff super friendly.

• Our reservation was for a Standard Room – 1 king bed. We paid in advance to secure the room at a significantly higher price ($614.12) as it was Memorial Day weekend. What we got was a handicap accessible room and were told that you were fully booked and we could not change rooms. Our confirmation indicated a standard room. • As we had check in late on May 23, we had to use the room as it was prepared. There were a number of items that were totally unsatisfactory in the room. * one of the two bathroom mirror light was burned out * There was no shower curtain * The window shade was broken and unusable * The closet could not be used for standard length clothing No adjustment or compensation was offered after repeated requests through our travel agent.

My husband and I were so pleased with our stay. Front desk staff was excellent in takiing care of our needs; the hotel is clean, inviting and welcoming. The bed and pillows were some comfortable. We enjoyed every moment of our stay.(Don't judge the bed; I made the wrinkles. The bed was so comfy!

I have many issues with this location. 1. The rooms are dirty.. including dirty bathroom floors, refrigerators. 2. The rooms smell like mold. 3. I was unaware that I needed ro ask for room service.. thus my bed was not made. I had no clean towels, etc., when I returned to my room. 4. Manager Jordan was very dismissive and unapologetic for the above... informing me that I must ask for room service. The only reason I stayed tonight was because it is late and I didn't have the energy to make reservations elsewhere. I have one more night in SC.. and will look to spend it at another hotel.. I must look for reservations now. Take my advice... DON'T DO IT!

Nice place to stay
You can tell this is an old hotel that has been remodeled. The AC controls are on the unit attached to the window. There was hair in my shower, but overall was a nice place to stay. Staff was nice and breakfast was good.
