Private detached Guest house (500 ft²) with NO connecting neighbors - Safe and secure off-street parking right next to your door - A perfect jumping off point for those who want to experience Folly Beach and Downtown Charleston! - Located in the established walkable Bayfront community with waterfront Dock Street Park just a block away. Perfect if you want to get a "locals" feel of the area. (Located on James Island) The Space You are only: - 3.5 miles and (only 1 stop light) to Historic Downtown Charleston - basically a straight shot over the scenic James Island bridge to downtown. - 6 miles to Folly Beach - 14 miles to the Charleston Airport - There are several restaurants and bars including a city park within walking distance. Folly Beach and Downtown are not within walking distance. Rentals in those areas have significantly higher prices and usually lack adequate parking and conveniance if you want to see greater Charleston. Transportation: A car is recommended if you want to see all of the sites that Charleston has to offer. Uber and Lyft are easily available due to the close proximity to downtown Charleston JI Town Permit - # HO-2017-21 Guest access Full use of the detached apartment, its amenities and the large open back yard on (.6 acres) giving you complete privacy without hearing other guests. I live in the main house at the front of the property (over 100 ft away). So feel free to come and go as you please without disturbing anyone! Other things to note: PETS - An additional one time $75 is required. Please be sure to add your pet to the guest list. The property is not fully gated, however it is on a very large lot. PARKING - Your own secure paved off-street parking (approximately 1250 ft²) just a few feet from your door. The parking area can accommodate multiple cars, trailers and campers - I've had some guests bring their boats. You will not get this Downtown! BEDS - Master Bedroom: King - Cot available when booking with 3 or more. - The couch can be extended to sleep one more. AMENITIES - We provide basic amenities such as shampoo/conditioner, body wash, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, trash can liners, laundry and dishwashing soap, towels, cooking pans, coffee, sugar, cooking oil, and salt & pepper. - Beach umbrella, towels, cooler and chairs are also provided KITCHEN - Range, Fridge, Microwave, Washer and Dryer, Blender, Toaster and Coffeemaker. There are also 6 grocery stores within 2 miles. HEATING & COOLING - Mitsubishi Inversion central/ heating air system INTERNET - High-speed AT&T Fiber optic and dedicated Access Point suitable for numerous streaming devices OUTDOOR SPACE - Private Outdoor Patio with Bistro Lights, Grill, Outdoor Shower and Fire Pit REMOTE WORK - 36 inch table with padded chairs, complete wireless coverage indoor and on the outdoor patio About pets:Pets allowed: dogs (limit 1 total).About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About customRules:Guests can park anywhere on the pavement in front of the apartment..This is a peaceful residential neighborhood.
