We have had a fabulous time since arriving at the hotel. We were received by very friendly and helpful receptionists. The room is very clean and is well stuffed with toiletries, the Aircon is cold to my liking but can be adjusted accordingly. The roof terrace is very scenic, however, the views of the Guangjie Bridge is only in partial view. The location is superb, walkable to all the top attractions. The hotel breakfast is at nearby with delicious local dishes. The owner is ever so helpful, her service is above and beyond to cater to my mum. Lastly but not least, we are overall very happy with the service we received from this hotel and will highly recommend anyone looking to look for a 5 star accomodation. Relatively clean but the service is very poor. The things are as follows for your reference: We booked two rooms in total. We called after 11 o'clock on the day of check-in to confirm whether we would check in. We said we would arrive after 12 o'clock. The front desk said that there was a room (208) that had not yet been checked out and we had to wait. After we said it was okay, it was already available. The room (209) was settled first. After going out for fun and returning to the hotel around 5:30, the front desk said that the guest in room 208 wanted to ”pay for an extension” to check out at 4 o'clock, so room 208 was still being cleaned and asked us to wait. Soon, we entered room 208 at almost 6 o'clock. As soon as we entered the room, our companion said that we could not go in because the smell of disinfectant water was very strong, so we went to room 209 to rest... So far, we have not pursued the matter. I left the hotel around 7:30 in the evening and came back from the tour around 10:30. The front desk had already finished get off work, and my companion who stayed in Room 208 had not slept well all night due to the smell in the room. He wanted to report it to the front desk when he checked out the next day. We were ready to check out at 8 a.m. the next day, but there was no one at the front desk, so we called the number on the poster. When the phone was picked up, we told the other party that there was a serious smell in the bathroom in the room at the end of the day and asked the hotel to provide a solution. The other party said: ”Just leave a negative review.” After hanging up the phone, the entire conversation lasted 20 seconds. The hotel owner has a great business, but in Chaozhou's landmark tourist destination, he receives so many tourists from all over the country every day. Such a ”welcoming attitude” really makes us tourists feel ”regrettable”. In the end, Ctrip's official customer service compensated us 150 RMB for this matter, saying that the other party refused to call to apologize and had a bad attitude, and also apologized for our poor check-in experience. This incident has come to an end, and the above experience will provide a reference for future guests.

The hotel is located next to the West Lake, easy to find, and cars can be parked in front of the door. It is within walking distance to the attractions in the ancient city. The hotel was renovated from an ancient house and has installed elevators to reach each floor. The rooms and bathrooms are comfortable and suitable in size, neat and clean, the bathrooms have sufficient water power, and the hairdryer has strong wind power. There are also public spaces on each floor, making it feel like home. Breakfast is traditional Teochew style. The boss and waiters are friendly and helpful.

The room is elegantly decorated and is a 15-minute drive from the food court. The boss designed the tea room with great care. It was a pleasure to drink tea and chat with friends. The boss has good taste, the accessories and green plants are very eye-catching, and the tablecloths are very nice.

The inn is right next to the ancient city, so shopping is very convenient. The large window in the room faces the West Lake. Although it is blocked by trees, it is very eye-catching. The room is quite spacious, even for 4 people, 3 adults and 1 child, and 3 suitcases, it doesn't feel too cramped. The roof terrace garden offers a view and tea tasting, which is also a highlight. The overall feeling of the inn is simple, clean and sanitary. The store has a good service attitude and strong sense of service. It feels very good.

The room is actually better than the photo. The layout is very reasonable and the facilities are new. It is very clean and the security is very good. It is very quiet at night and I slept well all night. The landlord is very reliable. Every time I contact him, he replies in seconds. If I have any questions, he can also give a satisfactory answer. I will recommend this homestay to my friends~

My girlfriend came to Chaozhou and chose for a long time and still felt that this one was the most suitable. The room was clean and comfortable. The most important thing was that it was close to everywhere! ! ! There was Paifang Street right outside the door, so there was no need to order takeout at night

Super location and super staff. Very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Hotel room is very clean, well maintained and spacious. Buffet breakfast is nice. This is a high tech hotel that uses AI and robots. Very innovative and impressive. 10 mins walk to paifang street from the lane next to the hotel. Plenty of nice food in the immediate vicinity.

The service is super good. Miss Xie Bing and Chen Miaohui at the front desk are super kind and answer all questions. The service is super good. The room is hygienic and clean. The automatic toilet responds quickly and does not dirty your hands. The bed is soft and comfortable. The sound insulation is good. Bottled water can be refilled for free. You can check out at 15:00 at the latest, and also provide free luggage storage, which is really convenient and fast for lazy stars!

Around 5 mins taxi to the entrance of ancient city, great view, excellent room design, particularly like the bathroom design! Exceptionally comprehensive gym equipment, neat and stylish gym environment. Helpful staff who helped to arrange taxi and recommend restaurant. Major complaint was cleaning staff entering my room after I left the hotel despite my Do Not Disturb light was on. I was sure it was on because it is my usual practise, and I double-checked it that morning when I left the hotel. And the room service (which I did not expect) was chaotic. Used towels and bath rope were taken without replacement, and unused towels were somehow rearranged. Filled up some disposable utensils but were not tidily placed e.g. the slippers looked like being casually tossed around on the floor. Instantly realized someone had entered my room when I arrived at my room door that evening as I could see the DND light was turned off. Hotel explained that the cleaning staff was unaware of the DND light. How ridiculous! It was deliberately turned off. Worse, how the hotel tried to keep the hassle low key by offering me free bfast or something was disappointing. I don't think the hotel had geniuely tried to understand how I see it as an intrusion, and how unacceptable that was to me. I did not feel safe when I found out someone entered my room against my will. Probably won't visit Chaozhou again and prefer not to stay with Crowne again.
