Berman Hotel (Chaozhou Ancient City Paifang Street) Reviews

It’s a well maintained hotel and worth staying. Visited in October 2024 with friends, we booked 3 rooms. And all of us were happy with our rooms. Plus points: - clean spacious room, no smell & ours had a window - water pressure is exceptional - hotel staff was friendly and helpful - near Paifang walking street - about 8 mins stroll but it takes 6 mins ride to Guilin bridge I would recommend my friends to stay here

Highly recommend this hotel for stay in 潮州. Hotel is also conveniently located near key attractions and eateries such as 牌坊街 and 广济桥. Just a short walking distance to these places. Service is excellent with good understanding and flexibility to cater to customer needs. Its newly renovated in 2023 so all facilities are excellent in terms of functionality, design and cleanliness. Parking is free and easy for hotel guests. Right in front of the hotel entrance.

Stayed for two nights, changed the itinerary twice to eat delicious food in Chaozhou. Even though the hotel was fully booked, it was surprisingly quiet. I slept until ten o'clock. There were two cats in the parking lot, so cute 🐱

When traveling to the ancient city of Chaozhou, we pre-selected different hotels. Finally, we chose the Berman, which is a few minutes away from the ancient city and is more cost-effective... First of all, the smart-controlled rooms are beautiful and clean, and the front desk also tried their best to cooperate with us in choosing high-rise rooms. The next morning we checked out and drove to Shantou, our next tourist destination. It wasn’t until we received the text message that we discovered that our friend had accidentally left his cell phone with some treasured photos in the room. With the help of the front desk, the cell phone was couriered to our hotel in Shantou and we received it the next day. It was intact but most importantly the information inside was preserved. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the front desk and housekeeping staff. Your professionalism is worthy of praise. Keep up the good work. We will also give priority to the Burman Hotel next time.

The room is big, clean and tidy! It is 100-200 meters away from the ancient city and there is a parking lot, which is very convenient. The service is especially thoughtful. Knowing that there are children, they upgraded the room for free! I will stay here again if I have the chance!

It is very close to the ancient city archway street, and it takes only 10 minutes to walk there. The hygiene is OK, the room supplies are good, the bedding is also good, but the sound insulation is a little poor (many hotels have this problem)

The room facilities are complete and comfortable, it is clean and bright, there is free parking, and it is not far from Archway Street and Guangji Bridge. The breakfast was average. The worst thing was that it was very hot and uncomfortable to sit in the restaurant to eat breakfast.

Everyone should read it clearly when making a reservation. If you write down the first floor, you usually won’t pay attention. We were told by phone at noon that day that we couldn’t book in other hotels. The window inside the hotel is a patio window, and there is a smell of disinfectant when entering, which is very unpleasant. Satisfied, breakfast was given as a gift later. There were not many breakfast varieties.
