This is an amazing place! I felt like I was staying in a movie set. The place itself is gorgeous and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is perfect foo - close to the sightseeing areas but far enough from the main tourist street to be quiet and peaceful.

Location is within the Chaozhou Old City area, on a side street just off of Paifang Street. There are endless options for food, drinks and snacks on Paifang St. The design of the room is nice, with the skylight above the "tea" corner. The door locks with old style wooden slats. The bathroom is very dark, would be helpful to have brighter lighting. Cooler Air Conditioning would be more comfortable in summer. Disappointing to receive disposable paper towels as bathtowels. Room would benefit from deeper cleaning. Lots of dust trapped in the air exhaust in the bathroom. The local feral dogs use the skylight as their toilet. A nicely designed conversion to "homestay" property, would be even better with a little nore attention to the details.

Exceeding expectation with a central location off the main tourist 牌坊街, well done restoration on the old house, and called before check-in. If you are like me scared of white ants and red skin spots in other hostels in the area, I would recommend staying here.

Good location, easy to find. We arrive at mid-night, and the staff came out to pick us up at the street to walk us through. Both staff are very nice and helpful.

The old house in Guya Lane next to Paifang Street is very charming! It's a pity that I only stayed there for one night. If I had time, I would have enjoyed petting cats and drinking tea in the yard!

The B&B is unique enough. The environment in the room is satisfactory, but it is humid and has too many mosquitoes.

The boss answered the first call, but his attitude was not very patient during the second call. The phone cannot be connected directly. I am still a person, what if I am old and young? If you are very busy, can you give detailed instructions? 2. There were a lot of mosquitoes in the room. I was bitten by five or six packs as soon as I entered. I wonder if the mosquito repellent water is not visible on the bedside? After repeated inquiries, I was given another mosquito repellent. Everyone, look at the picture. The electronic mosquito repellent is in a paper towel tube. Can I see it? 3. This problem is the most fatal. The toilet was not checked in advance to see if it was unblocked. Since I left my luggage and went out until late at night, I didn't find any problem with the toilet flushing. And at 8 o'clock the next day, when I was doing my daily defecation (I had the habit of flushing in the middle), I found that the flushing sound was wrong. When I looked back, I saw that the toilet was about to overflow. Can you imagine my mood... I called the owner and heard that he asked me to change to the next room before I even got up. When I hugged a bed of scattered things and was hurriedly running back and forth with my hair and skin covered with leather swallows, I couldn't move out of the room. . The scene is hilarious and the mood is extremely depressing. I told the owner that I didn't come here to buy you two bottles of Evian.... 4. Because I didn’t want to have invalid communication, I handed over the follow-up complaints and follow-up to Ctrip’s customer service. Unexpectedly, Ctrip’s customer service called me and said that they had communicated with the shop owner many times. The shop owner’s attitude was really bad and he went back on his word. They were also helpless. Penalty points will be deducted later. I hesitated, I can only say that the store is not short of money, I am convinced. I write so much in the hope that no one will have the same experience as me. In the booming tourism environment in Chaozhou in the past two years, high-quality B&Bs are springing up like bamboo shoots after a rain. The environment is much better with high cost performance. If the store continues to rely on old sellers and serve customers with this kind of service attitude, then you won’t make any money.

It has a historical flavor, I like it very much. It's my first time staying in an ancient house, suitable for friends who like elegance. Next time you come to Chaozhou, you can try it again. It feels fresh, and it's a different taste when it rains.
