There is a shuttle bus that takes you to the back of the ancient city, which is a side door. It is quite convenient. We booked two rooms. Our room was a bit noisy at night and the soundproofing was average. The other parent-child room was fine. Xiaodong and Mumu at the front desk were very helpful and recommended nearby delicacies! Overall, the price-performance ratio is high and it is worth coming again.

Chaozhou is a place worth visiting in a lifetime.
Ancient city & Hanjiang River & delicious food. I booked Orange Mercure after reading the reviews and it didn't disappoint. Although it is a little far from the ancient city, the important thing is that it is not as noisy as the ancient city. The hotel has a sightseeing bus to the ancient city (one way). When you come back, you can ride a small tram and it only takes 5 minutes to get back. The front desk service is good and the room is spacious. The sound insulation is also good. There is a parking lot at the back, which is convenient for self-driving. Very good, recommended.
