Very nice hotel and clean room

The front desk staff today was completely awful! I am a Platinum member, and this stay was my 40th stay this year, which makes me a Diamond member. The staff flat out lies about inventory!! The service is subpar and for this reason, I simply cannot recommend it at all! They tried to put me in a room below what I booked, and when I asked for a complimentary upgrade due to my status, which is not an issue at any other hotel if they have availability, I was lied to and told they don’t have suite rooms at this hotel! When I got to my room, I found that it wasn’t even the deluxe room I had booked! Rather than the front desk person bringing me another set of keys for the correct room, he told me to come back downstairs to retrieve the keys after going back and forth with me about my room, and asking me how the room was a not a deluxe room! On my way down to the front desk, I logged on to the website to show the front desk what I had actually booked only to find that they had TWO suite rooms available, which I had asked for upon initially checking in. Once at the front desk, I again asked about the upgraded room only to be told that they didn’t have suite rooms at that hotel. When I then showed the front desk person that they had two suite rooms showing as available for booking on their website, he then said, well they aren’t available because they are booked! I was then given a room two doors down from where the originally assigned room was. Upon walking in the room I immediately noticed stains on the floor and stains on the sofa couch. Given that it was now nearly 11:00 pm and I was tired, I begrudgingly just went to bed. The next morning, I woke up to take a shower and found hair in the towels! The bar hand soap had mold on it when I opened the box, the bathroom sink and the floor in the shower were cracked and peeling and the floors were just grimy! I’ve stayed here a couple of times in the past and was not overly impressed, but this stay has been by far the absolute worst stay I’ve had at a Wingate hotel. In fact, the entire experience, which was my 40th stay for the year, was anything but a Diamond celebratory experience!! Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere!

Wingate in chantilly va, was nice n clean. Breakfast was plentiful , swimming pool with towels and hot tub. Very quiet and trully smoke free. T

Excellent Hotel in Chantilly, VA (close to IAD). Great facilities, location near restaurants, very helpful attentive staff, all GREAT!
