This hotel will serve you well for one night either right after get off the ferry or the night before. It's just a couple minutes away from the terminal. It checks the boxes of being clean and quiet. It has a restaurant on site, that won't knock your socks off, but it'll do. They also have a bar. Keep in mind, this place, in a small town in western Newfoundland. I would stay here again if I were passing through.

IWifi would kick off continually so had to use my data and set it up as a hotspot kiling my data for the month. Room was freezing, found a popsicle stick on the floor by the bed when I walked in which tells me it wasn't cleaned well after last guest. Staff were friendly. Restaurant was... okay. Priced high for quality of food. I had the pan friend fish, it was virtually tasteless and I love cod. They microwaved the cheesecake (assuming because it was frozen) which made it, not like a cheesecake but a warm mush.

Arrived early evening on the ferry and stayed here before continuing north. It's a very average hotel, pleasant and comfortable enough when passing through to/from the ferry. Dinner was reasonable and saved having to find something in this small town late in the evening. Good for it's convenience as a one-night stay.

Everyone was so helpful and friendly in hotel including the restaurant. Our first time across the ferry from Saskatchewan. We had booked this hotel as we had looked at reviews as like I said first time too Newfoundland. We were put at ease in the ferry when some people that lived there said it was a nice place. Yes 100percent agree

Basic accomodations. Way overpriced for what you get, but this is the ferry terminal and the small number of hotels basically have you where they want you. Still, based on my experience I would not avoid this hotel. The front desk service was courteous and efficient.

It’s an ok stay and near the ferry terminal. Staff were fine and room was clean. The pillows were not good (thin, squishy) and there was only 3 per double bed. We were told there were no more pillows available. The room is noisy between the big a/c unit and paper-thin walls. There’s supposedly wifi but it didn’t work for us.

Hotel itself was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was underwhelming. Very slow service, order mixed. up.One waitress made it quite clear she was over worked and it was not very busy. Would stay at the hotel but eat elsewhere. The check in went smoothly and there were quite a few people arriving.

Multiple urine stains on bed comforter. Disgusting. (See pics) Booked and paid for ocean view room but did not get one (see pics). Was told that it was because I had booked my room on their website instead of calling them direct. ??? Isn't the hotel website owned by the hotel??? I did not book thru a 3rd party! Could not comprehend the excuse given. Anyway, was told the hotel was fully booked so I had to accept it! Felt cheated.

St. Christopher's Hotel is a basic hotel in Channel-Port-aux-Basques, close to the ferry terminal. The rooms are big enough, the bathroom is a bit poor. breakfast for this pretty high price (ca. 160 CAD inc. tax I paid per night, single occupancy) is not included. Personnel is friendly.
