This hotel is perfect for a stay in Chania. The location right on the waterfront in old town couldn't be better, with many restaurants and attractions all within walking distance. Rooms are clean, staff very friendly and a huge yummy breakfast is provided every day. Our host was always happy to help with any questions, ensuring our stay was enjoyable. We stayed in the honeymoon suite which comes with a great balcony big enough for table and chairs along with 2 banana lounges plus overlooks the waterfront. Many afternoons were spent out there enjoying the view.

You overlook the bay yet you can walk along the promenade and have your pick of restaurants. It’s in Old Town so you can easily explore shops. There is a lovely breakfast offered and the lady at reception is helpful suggesting places for dinner. We had the “honeymoon” suite up a flight of stairs with a balcony overlooking the water. It’s a charming place!

Wir haben uns hier im April 2022 sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und engagiert. Wir hatten das Zimmer zum Innenhof und nachts war es ruhig, obwohl der venezianische Hafen bis tief in die Nacht belebt ist. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker, z.B. mit frischgepresstem Orangensaft, Obst, Eiern, Joghurt und einmalig gefüllten Teigtaschen an Ostern. Der Blick aus dem Frühstücksraum auf den venezianischen Hafen ist ein Traum! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Very quaint hotel, 15 century villa. Only 5 rooms in it. Clean, friendly staff. Great European breakfast with hardboiled eggs, baking, Greek yogurt with lots of toppings, fresh fruit salad, fresh squeezed orange juice and French pressed coffee. Very convenient area in the Old Town Chania area in the old Venetian port. Lots of restaurants. Most shopping was closed as not their busy time, 3rd week of March. Stayed 2 nights, very pleased with accommodation and very friendly staff/owner.

The staff were very welcoming and took great care of us! The room was very unique and the balcony was great! Breakfast was also excellent. I would definetly recommend for a stay at Casa Leone for time in Chania or Crete in general!

Lovely Hotel in a Central location
Hotel is in a prime location, just a few minutes walk from a free public car park. Lovely hosts and comfortable room, shower room is compact but adequate. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful and is varied each day.
