This was a nicely located hotel for our visit to Paisley Park. However, we were not told prior to booking that they were undergoing renovations and the pool and hot tub were closed! This was one of the reasons we chose the hotel. Breakfast was very nice, a wide variety of breads, eggs, bacon and sausage as well as delicious hot coffee. Housekeeping services were not the best. Cups were not removed and we made our own beds. They did give us fresh towels and coffee pods when asked. Staff were very friendly and helpful but I only wish I had known about the renovations ahead of time

Booked a room so we could attend a winter party nearby. Expectations from this brand were not completely met. Staff was polite. Breakfast was good. Place was quiet. As soon as we arrived, after asking, we were told that the pool and hot tub were not open and we would have to drive to the local fitness center and use theirs. When I expressed my disappointment the desk staff said we could cancel the reservation and stay somewhere else. This was not an option because we needed to be somewhere in about an hour. I chose a Holiday Inn because these amenities were advertised on their website and expected. I called today to ask for a partial refund and was told the pool and hot tub was not available to guests because there is a new owner. What? I know it costs money, but they need to update this property.

Very dissatisfied with this property and wished that I had taken the time to read reviews by others in advance; we would have chosen a different hotel. My wife and I were on a two week trip in three states and stayed at many IHC Hotels along the way, this one was the worst. Inside beyond the entry way, the hallways smelled and the carpets were stained and walls dirty. The worst was the mattress. It was beyond its useful life and caved in - worst mattress I have slept on since I was a child. In my opinion, this property does not meet the standard of IHC or the Holiday Inn Express standard. Corporate should cause the property to be refurbished or change the brand to a different class. Nothing worse than finding a bad hotel with a great brand and pay a higher price for it. Very disappointed.

Welcoming staff. Fantastic breakfast and hot coffee 24/7. I literally extended my stay because of the reasonable laundry. I had lost my wallet and they were patient and allowed the use of the business center so I could organize my affairs before checking in. Thank you again!

Not bad not great. That said it has wonderful beds. I slept great and that means the most. Came for business nearby and walked. The staff was friendly. Didn’t have the breakfast. Not a vacation hotel. But I would stay again for the beds…………………

This hotel is an absolute joke. They advertise hot tub and this beautiful breakfast display. The hot tub didn’t work, the slide for the pool is roped off and you can’t use it. The two main reasons we booked here was hot tub and slide because we were traveling with our granddaughter. They charged us $500.00 for two nights because of events in the area. When asked about a military discount the attendant told me he couldn’t offer it because we booked through third party and we did not. The breakfast was sketchy at best. This place ruined me staying in a hotel. I would expect a lot more out of Canhassen

Stayed one night - 5/13/23. Front desk was friendly and the complimentary breakfast was surprisingly good. There were items left in the refrigerator from a previous guest which upset me greatly as I wondered what else did the cleaning person "overlook"? I normally leave a substantial tip for those who clean my room but this time around, I left nothing because of this issue. The hot water out of the sink quickly became "scalding" and one could easily get severe burns from this if they are not careful. (Think "Children") It also seems obvious that some less than qualified person is doing repairs. While the floor tile was done nicely and it was square, the toilet wasn't. The faucet in the tub was also crooked. These two items did not cause issues with my stay but, they both were immediately noticeable and gave the impression of sloppiness.

We came in the hotel in the late afternoon/early evening and the gentleman that checked us in was "busy" doing something on his phone and although got up when we came thru the door, it almost seemed like we were an inconvenience to help check us in. When we got to our room, there were crumbs all over the top of the fridge, and crumbs on the carpet. The bathroom seemed it was cleaned, but could've definitely been more clean. The biggest let down was it was for a birthday surprise and we were told once we checked in that's when the hot tub didn't work but could go across the parking lot and have to check into the fitness center to use their hot tub and pool if we wanted. I would have rebooked a hotel if I would've known the hot tub didn't work, the pool was super cold that I didn't even bother going in. The plus side, the morning staff was amazing and willing to help and had smiles on their faces and were courteous.

This was a nice hotel. There was easy access and the service was very good. The room was great we had a handicap room. The morning breakfast wasn't the best. I've had better breakfast offerings at other holiday inns. I would recommend the place if you're not real concerned about the breakfast part.
