每次來常德，共和酒店是必入住的，最主要是酒店位置很好，在陽台上看柳葉湖心曠神怡，在14樓用餐觀賞柳葉湖全貌心情愉悦。

房間是挺大的，但房間的各種設施都比較老了，一看歷史感悠久，衞生做得還可以，環境還算好，窗外對着柳葉湖，柳葉湖的水體保持得很好，有很多水草，水也清徹，跑步很好，空氣清新。

常德共和酒店據説是老牌五星級酒店，有專門的寵物豪華套房，怎麼都得捧捧場來住住試試。酒店位於柳葉湖景區，景色宜人，還擁有一個巨大的免費停車場。房間很大，衞生做的很好，沒有異味。缺點是裝修略顯老氣，電視機好小而且不能投屏。另外，酒店十四層的餐廳環境不錯，食物新鮮味道也好。最後謝謝酒店送給毛孩子們的小玩具。
