I came to Jharana resort with very little expectations knowing that it is a few 200 mts from the Navegaon gate. I was plesantly surprised at the vastness & cleanliness of the resort & rooms. Great amenities ( pool, rain dance, conference hall) & lovely cottages with patios & large washrooms. The rooms are huge & can easily accommodate 4 adult - tigers :-). What makes this placs special is the F&B staff - Sanjay, the chef, Kailash & others. They whip awesome delicacies & ask your preference too. A little conversation with them & Sanjay is glad to share recipe secrets. Lovely & warm staff. Only feedback I have is to make washrooms wet & dry & to make their wi-fi secure. I am definitely coming here again

Run down place, grumpy welcome, lazy staff, although clean but feels as if they have not maintained place for a long time, only soap dispensar in bathroom no other toiletries, food was decent, 500mts from navegaon gate but it's an advantage n disadvantage especially if u hv taken shared safari n no vehicle of ur own in the morning, probably won't cm back unless they upgrade

Located in the heart of the forest, jharna resort offers a great serenity to begin with. It is also very close to the tadoba navegaon gate and they offer special services for the tourists going on safari as well. The property is well maintained, the staff very helpful and polite and the food is excellent. I was craving for peace in nature and i am glad i chose jharna resort for that.

Located in the heart of the forest, Jharna Resort offers a great serenity to begin with. It is also very close to the Tadoba Navegaon gate and they offer special services for the tourists going on Safari as well. The property is well maintained, the staff very helpful and polite and the food is excellent. I was craving for peace in nature and I am glad I chose Jharna Resort for that.

The premises could be managed better even in off season. Huge area but staff on leave being a lean period may have hampered the maintenance. Nevertheless this place is worth the money spent. Furniture and interiors in dinning space and reception area require the attention of the proprietors. Raj Patankar the GM extremely positive and brilliant person. Could meet him in person but his communication on phone was constant and he had been monitoring his staff while on leave at Mumbai. Sandeep Muske, Sanjay the chef, serves finger licking stuff. The house keeping staff, Prafull and Asmita ensuring the room is kept neat n tidy. Deepak and Ashish manning the dinning hall, ever ready to serve with a smile. Excellent choice for juggle safari. Overall good resort for stay. Well maintained and clean. Staff also cooperative but restaurant is quite expensive

We spotted a snake in our sapphire room, which they were unable to catch & remove. They offered another room which didn't have a working AC, that too in the summer month. Finally we shifted to the room where our family members were staying. Even in the other room, there was a frog in the bathroom. Property maintenance is poor. Except for the premium rooms, all other rooms are poorly maintained. The staff is very lethargic and inattentive. The premises are ill maintained with huge bugs and insects crawling around the porches of all rooms. The swimming pool is ill maintained and filled with insects. Food is bland and service is slow. While they refunded the money I had paid for the sapphire room and upgraded to a premium room for the next night, the experience was very poor. It doesn't compensate the inconvenience caused to us while paying a premium amount and ruining our vacation mood. Finding a snake inside the room is a major safety lapse which is incomprehensible and unpardonable as it put my family with small kid's life in danger.. That too with the premium pricing they ask for. I strongly advise people visiting tadoba to avoid Jharna resort tadoba, to avoid putting your family and family's life at risk.

Terrible experience. This one you should definitely avoid. They are just after your money. Only plus point was service at the restaurant, very polite staff. However, food menu needs to be upgraded.

Very close to Navegaon Gate. Property is in Buffer Zone . Staff is very Friendly. Restaurant serves delicious food. Single Cottages are huge in size. Common facilities like garden , play area need better maintenance..
