Irai Safari Retreat

The staff are so kind and attentive with everything. The room was spacious and comfortable for our family. Food was good and the staff went out of the way to cater to each persons tastes. Property is slightly dated in some aspects, but would 100 percent visit again. We saw amazing wildlife at close by parks, with door to door service from safari tours and experienced once in a lifetime animal views!

It is truly like home in jungle.We were late for lunch due to bad road conditions but they made it point to serve us tasty hot lunch first and then took care of checkin. Hotel is well maintained with lot of sitting places where you can sit and chat . Rooms are spacious and well maintained with all necessary amenities , lovely verandah and beautiful terrace. Delicious food with nice spread. Well trained staff who took good care of us. Safari were like little picnic with apt snacks and drinks. What is note worthy is before morning safari at 5am in the morning ,tea and coffee were served and ***** with our breakfast the also gave us rugs to protect ourselves from cold. These are small things but they give us home like feel. Only garden has to be taken care off and the sign board near turning has to changed.

We had THE most fabulous time at Irai Safari Retreat, everything from the wonderful friendly team who looked after us, the gorgeous food, our stunning Luxury Tent WOW !!, the decor, electric Tuk Tuk and the organisation & picnics for the safaris were just so perfect - 11 out of 10! We absolutely loved Narayan and the whole team who treated us like royalty with a selection of fantastic dishes especially created for us, all with amazing smiles and nothing was too much trouble. We didn’t want to leave ! The swimming pool is beautiful and the viewing tower is a lovely spot to chill and has great views from the top. A big thank you to the whole team for such a wonderful stay. They really care and want you to have the most amazing time. It was so inspiring chatting to Deepak who is very knowledgable and such a character. If you are travelling to India for a safari or even if you fancy a chill out, this is the place without a shadow of a doubt to choose. We can’t wait to return !! Thank you so much we loved it !! What an amazing experience at IRAI Safar Retreat yet again❤️ We have been to Tadoba countless times that I've nearly lost coun, and what always stands out other than our favorite safaris is our stay at Irai Safari Retreat in Bhamdeli. We had booked the accommodation in advance, and Deepika from reservation and guest services had made the reservation experience as smooth as it always is. Just a text to her and our Favorite trip of the year started getting planned. She is very supportive, helpful and ensures that the reservation process is hassle free. On the day of arrival, we were welcomed by the ever eager Sitaram bhau, Rahul in Management and Pate, sir, our trusted wildlife naturalist with a blooming smile which immediately made us feel welcomed and at home. As soon as our check-in was done, we were greeted by our 2 most favorite people in this location; Narayan in F&B and Mangesh who is the Barbeque specialist. The rooms had an upgrade and some renovations since we had visited last. A new Aircon, a few small changes to the room and some fixtures changes in the restroom really made our stay even more enjoyable and pleasant. The room was well appointed, clean, odor free and well stocked with necessary items. A special note for Narayan Sahu, who made our experience extra special. He ensured that every little thing was taken care off and made our stay very enjoyable and comfortable. Right from daily breakfast of our choices at the safari to giving ***** Tea, snacks, cold drinks, Our meals were specially curated and planned by him and we got to have some choicest delicacies from fish to meat & a special birthday lunch of Gavti Chicken Soaji on my wife's birthday. He had arranged for a cake and small decorations. It sure added to the memories of my most favorite day each year and sure put a smile on her face as its always least expected to be able to celebrate in the middle of the Jungle. The whole experience was beyond awesome. Mangesh Dhok held a grand Barbeque with Chicken and Prawns that added to the flavors of the day. We are extremely pleased with our experience at Irai so much so that even before we check out, we had already booked our next stay in the next few months. Few names worth mentioning are Namdev Mama from gate security, Ganesh, Atul and Prakash from the restaurant. Looking forward to being back to this home away from home and Family like ppl who care with utmost love and dedication towards their guests.

We were a group of 4 families and stayed at Irai in November. The property is large, yet, not too packed with rooms and so it leaves one feeling at one with nature. It is close to Moharli gate and hence easy to get to our safari gates. The property is very well maintained with very well appointed, clean and spacious rooms and a lovely pool as well. The manager is a naturalist too and can regale you with stories of Tadoba if you engage in a conversation with him. The staff are also very responsive to requests. We had kids with us, so any special requests were easily taken care of. One of us was celebrating a 40th birthday, and the resort decorated the rooms, arranged a nice cake and a special barbeque too. It was a lovely way to celebrate. Would definitely recommend this!

Certainly, Irai safari Retreat is one of the best resorts in Tadoba. Properly clean and maintained cottages, very spacious rooms and with decent interior. A very supportive staff with commitment and polite approach. Spacious dining hall with quality food and service. Swimming pool is another attraction. Be it breakfast, lunch or dinner nice menu and ultimate taste as well! Thanks to Irai Safrari Retreat reservation team who organised this tour for us as we were visiting to Tadoba for the very first time and it was the memorable one. Safari with resort naturalist is another great experience. Restaurant manager and the entire team there, big thanks from us for their service and support. Overall property Location, Accommodation facility, safari, Food and taste…everything just superb!!! Highly recommended to wildlife enthusiast.
