Tours is our usual stop over when travelling on wards to Portugal. This year we decided to give stay at a different hotel. We opted for this hotel as it looked clean and tidy and was en route for the next morning. We had booked two double rooms for our party of three. Check in was very quiet and serious. No friendly greeting. Our rooms were located upstairs, staircase on the outside of the building and top floor. There is plenty of parking which is secured overnight. The rooms had electric blinds which was great but they were dark and we were there in the middle of summer. The beds were clean and very comfortable, the bathroom was a good size. Shower worked well. Soap, shower gel, toilet paper all provided along with towels. There also was a kettle, two mugs and coffee & tea provided. Plenty of plug sockets in the room. The main door to each room had to be slammed , not ideal but hotel was quiet when we were there. Breakfast the next day was fine. Very very quiet, no one spoke, not even other guests to each other at other tables. Good selection though of the usual croissants, jams, bread , yoghurts etc Location is good, good for the motorway, shopping centre nearby with Burger King, Leons, etc so you can grab something to eat but best for an overnight stop only. We did feel rested, our rooms and beds were fine . Will we be back? Probably not but the rooms were good value.

Very warm welcome when arriving. Ate dinner in the restaurant, great value for money.
