The location of the hotel is very convenient. There is a gas station and DQ next to it where you can buy burgers. It is completely fine for a temporary stay at night. The room was generally clean, comfortable and I slept soundly at night. However, the facilities are a bit old. The heater in the first room we stayed in was broken and it felt very cold. The front desk service was friendly and they quickly moved us to a new room. Overall, the experience is good. It would be better if the facilities could be updated.

The main portion of the hotel and the room we were in was run down and has a strong smell of mildew. I cannot speak for any of the other rooms here.

Love this jewel! Spotlessly clean from the moment you walk into the lobby . Retro hotel, not fancy but ever so clean and comfortable. Bed very comfortable and has everything you need. It’s cozy .(we were in a queen bedroom. Bedding nice and fresh and I loved the pillows. Nice tv. Really friendly front desk. I have no negatives.

I really like the old motel style, where you park your car right in front of your door, as it’s very convenient to load and unload, especially when you’re staying for one night only. I usually select 2 queen beds rooms to get a little more space, but I ended up getting a room I have never seen in all my years of road tripping. Here, you have 2 separate rooms with a restroom in the middle. As the second room is in the back (with its own sliding door) you can sleep quietly without the risk of being disturbed by any neighbor parking the car late at night in front of your window (a common problem with this type of hotel/motel). On top of that, you get a LOT of space, all the basic amenities (mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker) and two huge smart TVs, one in each room. The suite was extremely clean. The Internet was fast and the clerk at check-in was very friendly. The only let down for me was the hot options of breakfast. Although I usually skip it, I decided to check it out and it was comprised of those cardboard versions of egg disks and bacon that even look like made out of a 3D printer. To be fair, they have fruits and other stuff too, but I left after observing the hot buffet.

Driving from the Crazy Horse monument and heading east back home to New York, we decided to try this hotel. We were very satisfied with front desk service (Jackie) and with the room itself which was very quiet, comfortable and clean! A great value too! There is also a clean, indoor pool, and we observed a very happy young family enjoying some fun there. The morning breakfast offerings were ideal. Fresh fruit, muffins, cereals, omelettes and lots of fresh coffee! What more can 2 weary travelers ask for?!

It’s an older property and the rooms are nothing special, outside entrance to the rooms. Good location near the river. Breakfast was unremarkable. Staff was very friendly.

I stay here twice a year and have done so for a number of years. It is always the same, a standard set that any hotel should strive for. The rooms are clean, well appointed and well maintained, and the grounds are always groomed. There is an indoor swimming pool. The staff is friendly, welcoming and accommodating and I have come to rely on Leah to always provide a perfect stay. She and Steve always show their appreciation for my loyalty through I have seen them extend those same qualities to all guests. The location is great even if it is a bit off the interstate. There is a park just a couple blocks away if you need to stretch. The restaurant across the street serves great Italian food, there is a market just up the street for replenishing supplies and there are several gas stations at either end of town. I consider this to be my favorite stay. Most importantly they take my Cat! BTW the towels are great!!
