Let me first state that I did not spend the night or any more time at this, motel/place than I unfortunately had to. I’m glad that I didn’t get suckered into this place. The unkempt desk closet and the dirty lobby was enough to make me happy that I “didn’t go there”. I couldn’t help the feeling there was something odd here. I was out the door as quickly as I could, the overly perfumed air was starving my body for oxygen.

We were in town for a family wedding & stayed at the Elkhorn Lodge. It has a rustic feel but ticked all the boxes: we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, lots of towels, endless hot showers, quiet at night, could always ask a question via a text, free WiFi, and next door to the wedding venue. Would stay again!

The management team doesn’t ever answer the phone. I was bitten by one of the house keepers dogs and my so called “Honeymoon Suite” was right next to this monstrosity. I kept my cool and my complaint was answered with the State Police knocking at my door stating that the manager wanted me to leave the property. It was a nightmare of an experience to say the least.
