We got a nice welcoming and appreciated that we could arrive a little bit earlier than check in. This old beautiful place/house is situated right outside the city centre in a not so beautiful area with a lot of houses/apartments around. Unfortunately our room had a view directly against a tall apartment building. The room was spacious but interior old fashioned and no condition made the air bad. Very beautiful garden and a large pool with sun beds that we enjoyed during the warm afternoon and the morning after for a swim. Breakfast nothing special but ok.

Grande maison située au fond d'une impasse dans un quartier pavillonnaire calme mais proche de quelques immeubles, à 25 mn à pied du centre ville (5-10 mn en voiture). Piscine et jardin agréables à l'abri du regard des voisins. Accueil sympathique de Brigitte. Bon petit déjeuner.

This was a hidden gem. We stayed in the vintage suite which had a huge bed, plenty of room and the biggest bathroom I’ve ever seen in a B&B! The mattress was very comfortable and the room was naturally cool during the hot summer night. Breakfast was good and the host was very accommodating despite a language barrier. The only downsides were there was only street parking available so we had to park a few minutes walk from the house and there was no spare loo roll in the bathroom. We only stayed one night so it wasn’t an issue but we did feel like we rationed it so it would last overnight!

Quiet spacious room. Lovely garden with seating and tables.
Good breakfast with wide selection of food.
Although we parked inside the property this was limited. The alternative was to park on the street. This would have been a concern for us with a foreign car.

Brigitte was a wonderful host. However, the location, amidst a residential area with limited on-site parking made my wife question my choice for our one night stay.
