Great staff. Restaurant staff mainly do not speak English so Google Translate had to come in. Food was good too. I'd skip the breakfast as I thought the offerings were not great. Scrambled eggs were cold and there was a fly being kept in the container where the crepes were.
Room and amenities were great.

It's a very cozy hotel with good facilities. The staff are very nice and enthusiastic. The location is very good, about a 10-minute walk from the Grand Chalon National Conservatory of Music. The breakfast is very good and I am generally satisfied.

wunderschönes altes Gebäude, super freundlicher Empfang, sehr witziger kleiner Aufzug, das Personal im Haus ist zuvorkommend und freundlich, unser Zimmer war zum Hinterhof gelegen (lowbudgetbuchung) sauber und ordentliche Betten, das Bad war klein aber ausreichend, leider hatte das Bistro am Abend geschlossen (es soll dort sehr gut sein), der Tiefgaragenstellplatz war um die Ecke, das Hotel liegt super zentral, man ist schnell in der historischen Altstadt. Leider hatten wir das Pech bei Frühstück auf eine schwedische Reisegruppe zu stossen, die ohne Rücksicht auf andere Gäste agiert haben. Wir können das Hotel trotzdem sehr empfehlen

Allein um mich für den supernetten Aufenthalt in diesem zuckersüßen Hotel zu bedanken hätte ich mir gewünscht, dass mein französisch gereicht hätte. So muss ich es hier tun und mache es so gerne. Es war als bloßer Zwischenstopp unserer Reise gedacht, aber wahrscheinlich der Höhepunkt, tolle Stadt, tolles Hotel und sehr sehr entzückende Menschen (nebenbei ist das Essen im Hotel wirklich großartig!)

Op doorreis hier heerlijk geslapen in fijne bedden en kamer. ‘s avonds kan je lekker eten in de bistro binnen of op het fijne terras. Bediening en receptie zijn erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ook fijne bar om een drankje te doen. Kortom een goede keuze!

Nous avons fait une étape de 2 jours dans cet établissement et avons été très satisfaits de l'accueil, des services, de la chambre qui comportait 1 petit salon avec canapé, 1 salle de bain avec baignoire, douche et WC séparé. Les chambres sont climatisées et disposent d'1 cafetière expresso. Les petits déjeuners sont copieux et variés. Il y a un bon restaurant, une belle terrasse extérieure ou l'on peut prendre un verre, déjeuner ou diner. L'hôtel est calme, beau, propre, sans être ostentatoire et offre un bon confort. La typologie de la clientèle est en rapport avec l'établissement. Il y a un parking facile d'accès avec une hauteur de 2.15m (ce qui est pratique pour les voitures hautes). Le centre ville est à 5 minutes à pied. Nous n'avons aucune critique ou remarque à formuler sur cet établissement , le personnel est courtois et disposé à satisfaire la clientèle. Si nous repassons par cette ville, nous n'hésiterons pas à y retourner!

Hôtel charmant avec un personnel très accueillant Petit déjeuner excellent et dîner très bon La chambre était parfaite, nous avons pris la nuit étape et le rapport qualité prix était excellent. Parking proche et très sécurisé. Nous referons étape sûrement une prochaine fois .

I broke my journey south with an overnight stay at this hotel. I love the “Edwardian” feel of the common parts. Everything is very clean and welcoming. There is a great bar on the street level. There is also a bistro (doubles as the breakfast room) but it was closed the night I stayed. My room was beautifully appointed, extremely clean and with all the usual bathroom extras. Buffet style breakfast was as good as I have had for a very long time. Scrambled eggs and bacon as well as all the usual suspects. The cake and bread selections were particularly notable. This is not a budget hotel so expect to pay a little extra but I thought that was right. The hotel’s secure undercover parking is just behind the hotel (you must check in first to get the applicable barrier codes). It was 12 euros as an extra.
