warm welcome on arrival even thought the bar was packed,restaurant busy too.After a drink in the bar with my birthday bottle of Rose compliments of the pub we went through to eat. Warned as very busy may be a little slow but certainly worth waiting for!! Excellent meals excellent service by Lucy and cant wait to go again!!Top marks

Room was poor. No bedside lights had to get out of bed and find main lights to switch on
Radiator in bathroom would not go off so extremely hot to touch- dangerous
Bedding was clean but bedroom and bathroom needed a good clean

This pub hotel is lovely but we had an upstairs room in the chalet block. Sloping roofs in bathroom and bedroom. Hot my head a couple of times - next time we will request ground floor or cottage rooms.

It was OK
It was OK. The rooms were a little tired but very clean. The lights in the bedroom were not independent so I had to walk to the door if I wanted to switch my bedside light off. It was a very high step into the shower which had a fairly slippy floor.
The staff in the pub were lovely and very helpful.
A bit expensive for what is was (including the food)

Good size carpark, just make sure you put in the number plate in th terminal at the bar
Check in at the bar all information given and shown where the room was
In a different building at the back of the pub
Up a flight of stairs.
Room is a good size as was the shower room
Bed super comfortable
Wifi excellent
Shower good
Breakfast not included but could add on if wanted in the morning
Location is in a small village lots of nice walks close by
Evening meal was excellent good choices and great value would definitely stay again if in the area.

All is well
I was booked in for three nights and due to unavoidable circumstances I had to leave a day early.
I fully realised that the monies were non-refundable but the lady I spoke to could not promise anything but she would enquire on my behalf if anything could be done.
Later on Sunday she called and told me that the unused day would be refunded and so it proved.
This was very much appreciated so ....thank you!

Will stay again
Very good hotel with rooms on ground floor. Food excellent. Not rrally suitable for wheelchairs as steps everywhere. Steep steps to rooms this could be fixed easily though. We did not have a wheelchair but still a struggle getting into room.
