This A frame cabin is a unique 2.5 acre getaway that is nestled in the Daniel BooneNational Forest just minutes away from Cave Run Lake, Broke Leg Falls, Red River Gorge, Morehead, and about 45 minutes from Carter Caves! You will be surrounded by nothing but nature. If you love the outdoors there is plenty to keep you busy... hiking, fishing, boating, kayaking, mountain biking, golfing, and of course if you just want a place to get away from it all this is your spot. There is a gas and charcoal fire grill to cook those burgers and roast the hot dogs. Fire pit out back perfect to roast marshmallows, eat smores and tell a few scary ghost stories. It’s a great place to escape and enjoy the simple simple things in life.Other things to noteThe cabin is at the end of the gravel driveway. The driveway has a steep incline to getup to the main road when leaving the cabin. In the case of rain/snow I would suggestparking at the top and walking down to the cabin. We do have pillows/towels/bed linensavailable.-We do not have any closets, dressers and/or hangers-We do have a washer &; dryer but it is NOT for the use of guests.-The cabin is in the middle of Daniel Boone National Forest so therefore you might seebugs and other animals that live there.-We do ask that guests take all the food from the fridge/take trash out and clean dishesbefore they leave the cabin.Where you’ll beWellington, Kentucky, United StatesThe neighborhood is very quite, and honestly you won’t see anyone because the cabin is very private you can't see it from the road.Host GuidebookSwimming, Kayaking, Boating, Fishing, Biking, Hiking, Golf The Great OutdoorsCheck out these websites for all the things to do in the area!https://www.fs.usda.gov/activity/dbnf/recreation/wateractivities/?recid=39314&actid=82https://www.facebook.com/pages/category/Sports---Recreation-Venue/Cave-Run-Lake-Kayaking-Adventures-339292506601382/https://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/dbnf/recreation/recarea/?recid=39458https://parks.ky.gov/olive-hill/parks/resort/carter-caves-state-resort-parkPlaces to dinehttps://www.facebook.com/popsssbbq/https://www.miguelspizza.com/https://www.sawstonebrewing.co/https://www.lacabanaofslade.com/https://yamatosteakhousemorehead.com/About pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About checkIn:Check in after 4:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 25.About events:No events allowed.
