Safe for solo travel, nice and convenient location. There are nice restaurants around even at late night.
Staff are super friendly and helpful. They even offered local cultural and history chat, very warm and knowledgable bunch of people.
The room is spacious overall, a bit old but cozy.

Alexander ll otelden çok memnun kaldık havaalanı transferinden başlayarak resepsıyon ve tüm ekip çok guleryuzlu ve yardımcıydı odalar temiz kahvaltı çok güzeldi ve en önemlisi de heryere çok yakındı yürüyerek gıttık bundan sonra ki Üsküp seyahatlarımde Alexandre Iı oteli tercih edeceğim herkese de öneririm teşekkürler

The room we had was quite spacious, which was a plus. However, it faced the main road, so traffic noise was noticeable, especially during the night. The room itself had an older standard and could use some updating. The air conditioning was rather weak and struggled to cool the room properly, and the lighting was quite dim. On the positive side, the bathroom was modern and clean, with good water pressure in the shower. Complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion were also provided. When we returned to the hotel around 12:30 p.m. for a short break, we found the room had already been cleaned, which we appreciated. The bed was soft and comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. We also booked airport transport through the hotel. The day before, we were told it would cost €20, but we ended up being charged €28.

Very nice stay at Hotel Alexander II. Location is great, 2 mins walk from the main square and another few knits walk to the old town. Room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was a bit small but still fine. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially Zoran at the front desk. He really helped us when we had an issue with a somewhat unpleasant taxi driver which was appreciated. Breakfast is very decent as well.
