I went there with my family and the stay was so good it was my 2nd visit . The food , ambience , view is so satisfying all the services are up to the mark and Ms Sangeeta who is incharge of this hotel she is so good , she knows very well how to deal with customers.. The hotel is not worth its price. The room does not look like the one shown in the photos on the net. There was no water in the bathroom for the whole night. Even I could hear other guests complaining the same. But the staff pretended that our was a one of case. We had to use packaged drinking water to do the basic morning chores. Then we went to the washroom next to the lobby. Even after complaining there was no water till 10 AM. Moreover the hotel staff was not apologetic and just treated the complaint as BAU. The food was good and the food service was quick at dinner but was slow at the time of breakfast. Overall it is not a hotel worth staying. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The only good part of this resort was the food quality.

Our stay in hotel purnima was fantastic, rooms were super clean and our host kailash left no. Stone unturned to assist us in whatever we requested for. Super value for money rooms. We had planned 2 nights in kasauli, 2 nights in chail and now we are going to kufri for 2 nights all bookings done on makemytrip and it has been a seamless experience with all the hotels we checked with the help of makemytrip.

What would you expect when you pay rs. 5, 700 (rs 4700 base fare + taxes) for a room called 'deluxe executive room? you would expect a deluxe executive room ! our room was clean and comfortable. No problem with that. But, it was certainly not a premium quality room that i have seen in dozens of hotels elsewhere in this price range. It lacked adequate maintenance (broken this, broken that) and had an average finish. Building itself is an old structure, needing maintenance. Owner would save guest from disappointment if they would just price and name the executive room rightly (by the way, we roamed around and noted that lower tier rooms are rightly priced: much lower. On flip side, the location is nice and close-2-everything; the owners and staff are courteous and considerate people. We had a pleasant time at chail; thank you.

I had booked a family suite for stay with my parents and wife at the hotel. Had a horrible experience and decided to leave the hotel within half an hour of arrival. The rooms were dirty and the ***agement had not bothered to make the most basic necessary arrangements before arrival of the guests. I, thereafter, asked the caretaker to have the bathrooms cleaned, linen changed, replace dirty crockery in the room and have the dish TV charged amongst other things. The response however was very poor and I had to call the person 3-4 times to get him moving. Seeing the poor state of affairs at the hotel, I called up the owner, Mr Kapil, who to my surprise, was as disinterested as his staff and instead replied ”Sir, yaahan to aisa hi hai, agar aapko theek nahin laga to aap kahin aur dekh lijiye”. I was surprised at the most unprofessional behaviour of the entire ***agement of the Hotel and decided to leave immediately. I asked for refund of the amt I had paid, which took forever and a No of calls to finally fructify (They had charged Rs 7400 for the room!). Finally, when I was leaving the hotel, the staff didn't bother to apologize or even help us with the luggage! At 7 pm, I went looking around for an alternate place to stay which I luckily found at Village In Resort. I am posting a few photographs for all to see and would not recommend anyone to stay at Hotel Emerald Valley.

Helpful staff, tasty food, wonderful rooms. All in all great option for someone looking for a decent place for family.
