Chaquacabana Resort & Beach Club

This hotel is nothing as what the website stares. It's not beach front and the property is not maintained. When you flush the toilet it smells in the face basin. I would not recommend this property. It needs a total renovation. Natasha was very accommodating, but the staff cannot perform miracles. Thanks Natasha, your boss should carry you wherever they go.

Myself and 7 of my friends visited Chaquacabana yesterday to spend the day at the pool. I made reservations on July 17th via the WhatsApp and a rep confirmed the reservation. However, when we arrived yesterday, none of the workers were able to find the booking information. We waited about 10 to 15 minutes before we could pay and go along with the day. I understand that because of the number of persons, the meals and drinks would’ve taken some time to prepare. The fries were extremely salty and the burger wasn’t well cooked at all. Two of my friends came a bit later on and when they ordered drinks, they waited about 30 to 45 minutes to receive them. They even had to go over to the bar to request the drinks order because the bartender somehow forgot. The senior bartender that evening had a very nasty attitude and lacked good customer service. Additionally, rain kept falling and there wasn’t any proper facilities for shelter. Why are there no umbrellas available for patrons? The excuse should never be that the umbrellas blow away when there’s strong winds. There are measures that can be put in place to prevent that. The female bathroom was also leaking and there isn’t proper lighting. There was a huge argument among the kitchen staff which was very unprofessional. The only good thing about the day was the service from the waitress, Alisha Alfred who tried her best to make us feel comfortable despite the poor service from her colleagues. Lastly, the area is run down and needs upgrading. When we spoke to one lf the managers about the poor service and if it’s possible to get some sort of discount or compensation, he said that he would get back to us. However, he never did. I still waiting to be contacted. I think the facility needs to be closed until some upgrades are done and they can hire workers who are aware what is good customer. If neither of the managers or owners reach out to me before the end of the week, I am going to post videos to enlighten the public of what we endured and caution them not to visit. ~Amyah

My friends and I stayed in the penthouse and it was a time well spent. It was my to celebrate my birthday and the staff decorated my room with birthday greetings. Mr. Nunes and the staff are working hard to bring up the standard of this beautiful club. I wish to commend them for their excellent service and making our stay such a memorable and enjoyable one.

A venue with potential. Enjoyable and relaxing if you can get past some of the maintenance (e.g. power washing of the grounds) and upgrades it can benefit from. The location is fabulous with the oceanside and option for fishing etc. The food served at the oceanside grill was actually very good. Ava was amazing at her service. Reasonably priced. I booked for 5 May only to arrive and discover they booked me for 5 June. I had Whatsapp evidence twice of my dates. Anyway , they managed to take me in. The cabanas are okay. Fridge and microwave was welcome. But our keycard kept needing reprogramming a couple of times which was frustrating as the front desk is a bit of a distance away.

Property has a good location however needs a bit of maintenance.

Property is in dire need of renovations and updates. Doors are rusty and squeaky. Seating area around the pool is quite dirty. Bathroom floors are not clean. No blankets are provided until you ask for them.
