Everything was as advertised with the exception of the televisions. We could only get one TV to work and that was in the main living area. The TV in the basement we were finally able to get connected to the internet. The TV in the upper bedroom, we could not get connected to the internet. It would be helpful to have instructions for all of the TVs as they did not appear to all be hooked up to the Hughesnet satellite dish outside. Otherwise, the property was very clean and worked great for my family. We liked the location along with the views from the windows and deck.

We were 4 men gathering to hike and fish in Colorado. This place suited us fine. I would have liked a nicer set of flatware and a grill that was fully functional.

Birthday ski trip
My son wanted to go snowboarding to celebrate his 14th birthday. We normally stay in Salida, but I wanted to stay a little bit closer to Monarch ski resort. Wanted to have a spacious place to stay where everyone could have their own room and possibly bathroom. This place was perfect! Everyone was blown away with my find! Perfect location if you’re heading up the mountain and close to town if you forgot something. Very affordable as well! And when we got there we weren’t bombarded with a bunch of list of do’s and don’t’s like we’ve experienced with other properties.
