Hotel location is good, short walk from the bus station and to Old Town. Room is quaint and clean. Bathroom looks newly updated. L'Occitane toiletries is a plus. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, particularly the ladies at reception on the morning of March 23 (sorry, we failed to get their names) who provided us umbrellas for our walk back to the bus station. Breakfast buffet choices were varied and was good.

The rooms are clean and spacious, the location is good, and the surrounding transportation is convenient. Whether it is shopping, entertainment or exploring the beauty of the city, it is close at hand. The most surprising thing is the rich breakfast, with a wide variety of delicious food, to inject vitality into your new day. Here you will experience intimate service, comfortable accommodation and delicious breakfast.

When you a stay at Lipno Lake Resort in Lipno nad Vltavou, you'll be near ski lifts, within a 5-minute walk of Lipno Ski Area and Lipno Rope Park. We stayed two nights in this establishment, ideally located at the entrance to the pedestrian part of the (very beautiful and very touristy) historic town of Cesky Krumlov. This means that leaving the pension you can access the historic town (and in particular its castle) in just a few minutes on foot, and that it is not necessary to enter the pedestrian zone with your car (this which can be a source of hassle). As the pension has parking and garage spaces, the location is ideal. We had reserved a room for 2/4 occupants. The room was comfortable, pleasant and had a view of the castle, but it turned out to be a little small for the four of us. For 4, it would have been better to book 2 rooms. A reservation about breakfast: it is served either outside (on a beautiful terrace), or (when it rains, which was our case) in the room. Here again, the room was not suitable for having breakfast for 4 occupants. The price is quite high but in line with the very touristy nature of the city and the location of the pension.

I can't say much. The service was stiff or almost non-existent. It might be because it is in the scenic area of ​​CK town. Anyway, there are a lot of guests. At least I won't go there again. As of the time I posted this comment, the hotel has not refunded the remaining deposit, which is about 70 euros. The email I sent was like a drop in the ocean. If there is an advantage, it is that the hotel is at the entrance of the scenic area and the transportation is convenient.

The location of the property is fine. There is an open parking place. Unfortunately those are the only two things that I can consider positives. Our room was in a very bad condition. I understand and I even like to have old furniture in the room of a hotel, but it must be in good condition and not falling apart. Carpets and curtains were in bad conditions too. The whole room including the bathroom should not be rented until it is renovated. The worse thing was the service. The people from the “ reception “ were inefficient and not helpful at all. We asked for un extension to connect the night table lamp since there was not any plug. Surprise! They never come to help with it. The minibar was empty, we informed them and they said that we could ask for refreshment , water, etc in the restaurant. Fine, we arrived from the city one evening and they said that they could not provide any beverage since the restaurant was closed. So they had closed it two hours before without previous information. The breakfast… mmm, maybe just acceptable… A very unpleasant stay. It is not our first time in the city and in our previous visit we had gotten a beautiful pension, elegant, clean, everything fine for a much better price. Four stars??? Come on!!!
