Ceske Budejovice Hotels with Gym

Situated not far from the historic center and very close to the shopping mall this hotel makes a good choice for any traveler. It has a large parking on site with easy access to the town center or the highway. The room was equipped with everything expected for this category - good bedding, complimentary tea and coffee except the TV set being an old model with no english channels. The breakfast had a good variety of food and very well organized, the personnel friendly and helpful. We recommend this hotel to anybody.

The hotel is very central and has big rooms. No aircondition. Just limited parking spaces with a autolift, but also parking on the street is possible. Nice breakfast, clean, friendly staff. Perfect to discover the city by foot.

The room was fine -- pretty clean and comfortable -- though note that there is no fridge and no coffee/tea. Also, be aware that the (paid) parking garage only has 14 spots but there are 75 rooms, so you have to reserve in advance if you want to park there, something that was not clear to us, despite reading about the property -- so the garage was full when we arrived and we had to drive around looking for street parking in the rain (and there was very little to be had). But the breakfast was good and the staff was friendly.

I have been going to Budweis for 50 years, my relatives live there. I could never have imagined what I experienced this time. The hotel is a disaster, the stairwell smells like a slaughterhouse, the furnishings are catastrophic, the bathroom is dirty, the TV, if there is any, is only Czech. After I asked whether foreign guests would like to watch the news, I was told that they prefer to go out for a drink 🫢😳. There is a ”lady” at reception who thinks she has to ”snap at” guests when they come with complaints. Parking in a parking garage far away from the hotel, you get a very small piece of paper with a QR code in the hotel, which is supposed to open the barrier when you enter and leave. That didn't always work, constant problems and no one to help. I (1.60 cm tall) needed a wobbly chair to get to my clothes in the wardrobe. No towels in the bathroom, no, they are draped like a swan on the bed on the first floor. I have contacted the owner three times (phone, text message, email), but to date I have not received a response. I would advise everyone that there are plenty of good places to stay in Budweis, so save yourself this disappointment. We were there five years ago and it wasn't as bad as it is now, after the ”renovation”?!?!

Clean homestay, kitchen equipment, pots, pans and spoons are all available. The stay is very comfortable. The landlord is very enthusiastic to help with the luggage. Because the room is on the fourth floor without elevator, everything else is good.
