Great lunch time menu. I had a stunning Cornish Plaice buttered capers, citrus leaves and french fries- which complimented each other perfectly. My wife went for Aubergine gratinee and was equally impressed. I had pear parfait and the better half had affrogato. My favourite meal of the last 3 months.

Nothing to much trouble, friendly and helpful staff. Nice food excellent breakfast, nice rooms. Great location. Would recommend and would stay again. Great base for coast and walks. Lots to explore in the area. Room was lovely and warm. Would stay again. Good beer

Fabulous place in idyllic village. We cannot fault The New Inn. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Food is amazing. We’ll definitely be going back.

Great Choice for Short Break in Rural Dorset
A lovely night's stay. Excellent food in restaurant/bar.
Friendly and attentive service by staff and owners.
Comfy room with plenty of space. Perhaps lacking some of the character of some of the other rooms, but this was clear from the description when booking.
Enjoyed strolling round the very picturesque village and old Abbey area of Cerne Abbas.
