Whatever reason you are considering going to Quinta Camerena for just do it. It's a magical place. You can connect with yourself, connect with nature, connect with other people or simply just chill in a beautiful setting. As a bonus all the food is absolutely fabulous and plentiful, all made using local ingredients or bought from local producers. And the owners Cam & Vera plus the GM Marco couldn't be any warmer and deliver that perfect balance of letting you be whilst knowing they are around if you need them. We definitely didn't want to leave but came home feeling relaxed, energised and very grateful for the experience.

Genoten van de Not So Serious Retreat ‘24. We waren met een fantastische groep, waarvan een deel de yoga retreat deed en een deel de fitness retreat. Er was een fijne fitness instructeur, die elke les duidelijke uitleg gaf en echt aan kon passen op je eigen niveau. Cam & Vera zijn de meest lieve eigenaren, die alles doen om het je naar je zin te maken. Elke keer als iemand iets nodig had, kwamen ze je helpen. Er was heerlijk eten, wat elke dag anders was en elke dag weer verrukkelijk. De activiteiten waren ook erg tof; zoals een bezoek aan een wijngaard, een hike over de fishermanstrail, een dip in de zee. De sfeer op het terrein en bij alle activiteiten was erg gezellig en het was goed georganiseerd!

We just finishing hosting our second art retreat at Quinta Camarena. There is so much to love about this place but it starts with Cam and Vera. Once you have taken Vera’s tour of the property and hear their story, you understand their purposeful vision for Quinta Camarena. Their commitment to sustainability and supporting the local artisans, farmers and producers is obvious everywhere you turn. The farm to table food is exceptional and nourishing – it’s made with fresh, seasonal ingredients which are all sourced locally - if not grown right on their property. The studio space is magical with floor to ceiling doors that open into a beautiful pine forest. It is the perfect spot for a retreat to relax, soak up nature and get inspired! Terri, ARTfuel Retreats

Geweldige locatie en organisatie om echt een onbezorgde tijd te hebben. Iedere avond heerlijke vegetarische gerechten gemaakt van streekproducten. De wijn uit de regio met bijbehorend bezoek aan de wijnmaker is de kers op de taart. Erg goed onderhouden locatie.

We loved our time at Quinta Camarena. As an older couple we felt very comfortable with the group. The atmosphere was so laid back and the activities were spot on. The hosts are really friendly and chilled and always to hand if you need something. A fantastic break .. We highly recommend!

Met 5 vriendinnen een geweldige tijd gehad op Quinta Camarena. De omgeving was beeldschoon, hosts Vera en Cam waren betrokken en enthousiast en de koks maakten elke dag een zalige brunch en vega diner. De (optionele) activiteiten (yoga, paardrijden, hiken en wijnproeven) waren leuk en goed georganiseerd. Een aanrader!

One feels welcome from the first moment. There’s a good energy at that place, which brings you to rest and come to yourself. While you do your Yoga, there’s the nice smell of the pines around... We enjoyed the wonderful varieties of the breakfast buffet made of handmade organic foods. Nicely located out of Cercal but close enough to walk into town. Our favorite beach is Praia da Ilha do Pessegueiro, a 25 minutes drive, with a wonderful restaurant having good seafood. A great place for a romantic sundowner. Vera and Cam, hope to see you again.

What a place, I can't fault it in anyway. Cam and Vera are amazing hosts and work so hard to make you feel welcome and comfortable in their beautiful Quinta. The activities allowed you to really explore the area and get a feel for what it has to offer. The laid back vibe made everyone feel very chilled and it was easy to get on with all the other people on the yoga retreat. I'll definitely be back and already I'm spreading the word to my friends-although I don't want it to become too popular :)
