Friendly and helpful staff. Room soundproof needs improvement. Room hygiene requires more effort. Mosquitoes and ants were found at my room on the 8/F. Two nights being bitten and cannot sleep well. Bad smell at the bath. Room is too small, but price was justified on that. Hotel lobby is too small thus car must reverse for finishing the roundabout. ???Weird design: located the QR code (for hotel service/ menu) at the bottom center of the table. Please ask the hotel manager to try on working at those tables. Highlights: breakfast provides fresh juice (pineapple, carrot, red dragon). 10 seconds walk to DP mall. Kids play zone is decent and nice. 3 min walk to Lawang Sewu.

Stayed 2 nights in a Deluxe room on 9th floor. Well located in the city center about 10 minutes walking to Simpang Lima and Citraland Shopping Mall. It is opposite of Telegorejo Hospital. A lot of cafes, restaurants and foodstalls nearby. Parking area is very tight and limited but available free vallet service to park our car. Bed room is fairly large and clean. Breakfast in the restaurant available indoor and outdoor areas has good selections of both Indonesian & Western styles. The hotel staffs were attentive, courteous and friendly. Thanks to Ilham who served us every morning in the restaurant. And a Rooftop Bar on the 10th floor also nice and has live music on certain day.

I dont know with this hotel they didnt makesure they are selling room category with title and description different, im Book via online travel, the story iam choose room with label deluxe twin “BUT in description room King Bed ( i’ll attached pict ). and makesure to notes i need 1 single bed, after arrived at the hotel procces chek in. Reception only mention im booking deluxe twin actualy they never check if inside of descriptions room category single. And 2 of 3 reception argue still consist my reservation is twinn bed, if they smart they just prepare joint bed or hollywod no need to argue. I dont know with this hotel, this is one of existing hotel in this city but the staff not well train. Im very disapointed . Hope this hotel got the point. ( during im write this review im in the hotel with very disappointed ) Other things - security staff not stand by, lobby acces close no one incharge at parking area, and im bring my luggage from parking to the lobby by staircase. That very very disappointed

We checked in on many Aston hotels and always feel satisfied, but this.. well.. I will straight to the point Plus + location is strategic + room is large (with but...) + breakfast has many variation and delicious ... as expected of Aston hotel + internet speed is quite good Minus - loose heath protocol, many people walk around without mask and no staff care about it - really small in room table (room 1115) , I can barely put my laptop there , i want to change room but they said it's fully booked .. seriously with room this large, it won't do any damage if you provide bigger desk - large room, sofa, but light is really dim, even one of the lamp is broken, mechanic exchange the bulb resulting some debris from roof falling and made the sofa dirty - bathroom is so small and no door for shower area so water will splash here and there - poor TV signal I usually use Aston hotel, I even wrote this in another Aston Hotel (Aston Cirebon which wayyy better than Aston Semarang) .. well I'm aware this is Aston Inn (which should has lower standard) but I didn't expect to be so much different :)

Insight room was different from the picture given on agoda, booking.com, traveloka even on their official website. Bed linen, pillow, towels got stain and the colour a bit yellowish. On their wall got a few of pencil sketched. And that make the room even look dirtier and dumped. The main thing was the bathroom. In the morning the water were so dirty, they said they were doing some repair to the water valve. And you guest what, they doing it in the morning where all the guests already wake up and need to use the toilet and we found out that the water was DIRTY with all the sands and the colour were brownish, then out of sudden the water heater also down. And the jackpot was, the water STOP running to all the rooms. THIS WAS PERFECT 😏 We already called 3 times and asked, and they only said wait for a while and keep on the water to flush away all the dirts. With out any other solutions. And that happens for almost 3 hours. They perfectly ruined our holiday with this Issue. We ask for extra towel, fyi, they only give 2 towels per room. We have 3 Children, so we asked for extra towel. We never got any problem on this even on budget hotel or at 4 or 5 Stars hotels before, You know what? After they give extra 2 towels, they asked for the existing 2 towels thats already in the room to be returned to them. We have explained to the house keeping that we have 3 kids, and of course 2 towels will not be enough (fyi, the towel is a bit thin, dont expect a furry thick towel like at other 4 or 5 starts hotel) What a silly service. Dont mention about the extra room key, they only gave us 1 room key, so we asked for 1 extra. You know what they said? We have not enough room key, so no more extra. It was a TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT staying 1 night on 31st dec to 1st of Jan 2023 at LK Pandanaran Semarang. They charged almost 3times from their normal rate and this is what we got. We dont mind if you marked up your price almost 3times, specially during peak season, BUT PLEASE before doing that, improve your service, add more capable and professional labour to balance up with your price. Not mention about LK Simpang Lima Semarang. At their lobby, there was a water leakage, not sure why they havent done any repairing. Thats make us think that they all the SAME, at all LK Hotel Chains at semarang. But we would like to compliments the security outside the lobby area, he was very helpful, and genuinely helped us and give solutions when there were no more parking lot.

Nice place, pleasant stay, clean room, excellent service. Short stay on family trip to surabaya for the long weekend. Nice surprise with room upgrade, and a connecting rooms as requested before. Tks a lot for the resepsionist on duty @mas alam.
