Fairfield Inn & Suites West Kelowna

The Manager,Roma, and Hannah from the front desk truly care about providing excellent customer service! My room overlooked the Golf Course which was lovely. Breakfast was very good. The location is very convenient just a bus ride away from Lake Okanagan! West Kelowna is the Best!

I don't normally do reviews, but this was the worst hotel experience we've ever had. We booked our hockey team here for a tournament from June 5 -8th through Event Connect as this was one of the hotels that partnered with the tournament. The hotel itself is nice, has clean rooms, and is in a decent location, but management and staff made it very clear that they did not want us there. They have multiple meeting rooms and a party room, all with tvs, but refused to let use or rent any of them. They told us it had to be booked with the sales department, which apparently is always closed. They have a beautiful deck out on the 2nd floor that's adjacent to the pool, so wouldn't disturb anyone, but they closed it and kicked everyone off at 10 pm. There were multiple teams there and some people literally moved out into the parking lot and drank out there disturbing guests until 4 in the morning, a way better look for the hotel than having those parents sitting out on a patio, where they would disturb no one. They refused to honor Marriott members a late check out as it was booked through Event Connect, and that meant they weren't Marriott members during this stay, lol. You can't make this stuff up. We had a few families that were somehow booked until Monday and they were leaving on Sunday, but the manager refused to cancel or alter their reservation as it was booked through Event Connect, who they partnered with. If you don't want to have hockey teams staying at your hotel, then don't partner with the tournaments! If you needed towels or other bathroom supplies, you would have to phone the front desk multiple times before they would ever send anyone up with supplies. We were there for 6 nights, and the room was never cleaned, and we had to call multiple times for towels, toilet paper, and garbage dumping. It was absolutely ridiculous how unwilling they were to work with us, and all 3 teams staying there had the same experience. If you are a sports team heading to kelowna, avoid this hotel at all costs. They will gladly take your money, but that is all!

Stayed at Fairfield Inn in West Kelowna in June and had a great stay. This feels like a new hotel and its very clean, modern and comfortable. Lots of parking available and walking distance from restaurants and stores. Best of all I ended up playing a surprise round at golf course next door. The staff here is nice and the breakfast was very good. The fitness area is large and open so its easy to get a workout in even if few other guests are in at the same time. Price was also great compared to places in Kelowna. Would stay here again for sure.

We had a terrible experience with hotel management. We were in town to watch our son’s CSSHL hockey tournament. Our son was staying at the downtown Kelowna Fairfield Inn and Suites. We accidentally booked the West Kelowna hotel and hotel management would not allow us to change or cancel our reservation without charging us a $250 fee. Unfortunately, now we are stuck staying at a different hotel than our son. Very little understanding or compassion from hotel management.
