If you like to see the world’s worst traffic jam. This is the property for you. I booked one night here in their entry level room and let me tell you, the whole experience was beyond a nightmare. It was hell on earth. The room was the most disappointing. For USD 280 , you wouldn’t believe that the room is as good as an airport motel. There is nothing inside the room that convinces me I’m in a 200 year old historical building. It’s very cheaply done up. I can’t imagine the reason why someone would open an inn here let alone call it a luxury hotel, as others have reviewed, I feel totally the whole thing is a misrepresentation. Also the wifi does not work in the room and the television doesn’t power off regardless of manual or remote switches. Very sus. I wonder if they would come banging on my door asking me to delete my review in exchange for some curry

The sound insulation is very bad, the room has no privacy, the toilet lid is crooked, the shower is very cold, because there is no door, the bed and the bathroom are only one meter, the bathroom door cannot be locked from the outside, which means sleeping next to the bathroom, 555. This hotel has two buildings. We eat in the old building and live in the new building. They are 300 meters apart. The front desk of the new building is often empty, and no one answers the phone when I call. There's really nothing to eat for breakfast. I could only eat three omelettes. The coffee tastes terrible too. This price is not cost-effective at all. The pictures are beautiful, I won’t go to this place again. In comparison, I think Hotel City Star is extremely cost-effective. We stayed there the day before. The room was clean and tidy. It was like a home in China. The breakfast was rich, with both meat and vegetables. The creamy mushroom macaroni was super delicious and the coffee was fragrant. No wonder that hotel is full of foreigners. The room rate is cheap, only more than 300. .

Most cruel person against women's and dogs. He uses his political clout to get his way. Bad experience. Most avoidable.

Did not enjoy my stay at all. Very average service, and below average food. Don't recommend. All the good reviews gave me high expectations. They must have been fake.

Did the Old Delhi Walk and absolutely loved it! The narrow lanes, centuries-old buildings, and rich history made it feel like stepping into a different world. Our guide was super knowledgeable and shared amazing stories about the Mughal era, hidden temples, and old havelis. It was chaotic in the best way — full of life, color, and culture. Definitely a must-do if you want to experience the real Delhi beyond the usual tourist spots.

So I finally did the Old Delhi Heritage Walk — and wow, what an experience! Walking through the lanes of Chandni Chowk felt like time-traveling. It’s loud, chaotic, colorful, and completely full of life. But that’s the charm. Our guide was awesome — super chill but really knowledgeable, and had the best stories about the Mughal era, old havelis, hidden temples, and how Delhi has changed over the centuries. We explored narrow alleys you’d never find on your own — some led to beautiful old homes, others to quiet courtyards, and even a stepwell hidden behind a gate I would've walked right past. The architecture was stunning once you looked past the hustle — so many old buildings just waiting to be noticed. What I loved most? It wasn’t rushed. We had time to look around, ask questions, chat with locals, and even take a quick break for chai. It wasn’t a food tour, but obviously, in Old Delhi, food sneaks in. We grabbed a couple of snacks on the go (because how can you not?) — a quick bite of jalebi, and some fresh kachori from a street-side stall.
