If you like to see the world’s worst traffic jam. This is the property for you. I booked one night here in their entry level room and let me tell you, the whole experience was beyond a nightmare. It was hell on earth. The room was the most disappointing. For USD 280 , you wouldn’t believe that the room is as good as an airport motel. There is nothing inside the room that convinces me I’m in a 200 year old historical building. It’s very cheaply done up. I can’t imagine the reason why someone would open an inn here let alone call it a luxury hotel, as others have reviewed, I feel totally the whole thing is a misrepresentation. Also the wifi does not work in the room and the television doesn’t power off regardless of manual or remote switches. Very sus. I wonder if they would come banging on my door asking me to delete my review in exchange for some curry

The sound insulation is very bad, the room has no privacy, the toilet lid is crooked, the shower is very cold, because there is no door, the bed and the bathroom are only one meter, the bathroom door cannot be locked from the outside, which means sleeping next to the bathroom, 555. This hotel has two buildings. We eat in the old building and live in the new building. They are 300 meters apart. The front desk of the new building is often empty, and no one answers the phone when I call. There's really nothing to eat for breakfast. I could only eat three omelettes. The coffee tastes terrible too. This price is not cost-effective at all. The pictures are beautiful, I won’t go to this place again. In comparison, I think Hotel City Star is extremely cost-effective. We stayed there the day before. The room was clean and tidy. It was like a home in China. The breakfast was rich, with both meat and vegetables. The creamy mushroom macaroni was super delicious and the coffee was fragrant. No wonder that hotel is full of foreigners. The room rate is cheap, only more than 300. .

Imagine being in a building that is over 200 years old!!!!! The staff friendly and attentive with the most meticulous attention to details....Rajan was my waiter and he was phenomenal!!!! He made food suggestions and was very knowledgeable about the buildings history!!!!! Bottom line....if you make it to India. Get over here....ITS GREAT

I stayed one night while exploring Old Delhi on my own. Great location to explore the bazaars and Jama Masjid. Felt safe, staff was respectful. I liked the peaceful courtyard the most. I’ve stayed in several heritage hotels around India, this one felt the most authentic. It hasn’t been over-modernized, which I really appreciated. Reminded me of my grandmother’s home in Lucknow.

This place has soul. You don’t just stay here, you feel it — the arches, the lights, the old doors. Don’t expect a generic hotel vibe. It’s for people who enjoy character, history, and charm. Terrible experience. Never stayed at the hotel although paid.. They were supposed to pick us up. Numerous calls, them hanging up on us, we were forced to find another last minute hotel. Finally got a refund after credit card company dispute. Not a safe neighborhood to be stranded.

Do not book here. We loved India until this nightmare experience. We arrived in Delhi and called the hotel to let them know we were on our way at 2 pm. They said we couldn’t check in for 4 hours because the street was closed. Finally they said they would pick us up if we came to old Delhi. We kept calling and they never picked us up. A Tourism office attempted to help us and they drove us and were trying to help us with communication. They kept hanging up on us. We had to find another hotel after we’d already paid for 2 night here. The next day after I kept complaining they said they’d come and pick us up. I told them that’s what I’d been told the day before. Finally after months I got my $ back from my credit card since I had to file a dispute.
