Sleepwell Motel

Best motel, staff are fabulous, breakfast is amazing so much to choose from a continental breakfast. Has a indoor pool and spa, tennis court, lovely surrounds, cannot understand that this is only 3 star should be 4. Would highly recommend this as a stay

The reviews did make me doubtful...but I really wanted to escape the heat in Perth during xmas time. So I booked the last room with no expectation at all. And you know what..? I LOVED my stay!!! Yes it's old and dated, BUT it's absolutely comfortable and clean. Great value for money, much better than I expected and I was actually so glad to score the very last room. Loved the shower with plenty of hot water and strong pressure, I slept very well on the bed, staff were great, the location was great...albeit it's right by the side of busy albany hwy, but thankfully it's gone quiet by 10pm and you're usually out and about daytime. The pool seemed popular with families and it looked clean and well maintained. There's no kitchen, but the facilities provided were more than enough for heating up food (microwave, cutleries, dishwashing liquid and sponge and towels). They also provided room service if you wish to have it. Aircon worked fine and the TV too, but it's more of just a background sound for me after whole day exploring and feeling tired. What I didn't like?? - That my room was upstairs LOL I didn't know about this. Good thing I didn't bring much stuff. So bear in mind of this when you make the booking - The whole place was generally quiet, but 2 mornings in a row, I heard this VERY LOUD bang...as if someone just slammed something shut angrily, more likely a door. 1st morning it happened twice, 2nd morning it happened once. Not sure if it's the cleaner or one of the neighbouring guests. Very annoying and inconsiderate! Good thing it didn't happen at night time. - The cleaner almost walked in on me while I was still dressing. She knocked and I answered, but she must have not heard me and just unlocked the door...resulting me to shout 'NO NO WAIT!!!!' Phew that's close! I did try to look for the 'Do No Disturb' sign later to hang on the front door, but couldn't find it. But anyway no biggie. So overall happy with the stay.
