Aras Hotel Corlu

I would absolutely avoid this place at all costs, our stay there was an absolute nightmare. I stayed there with family for 2 nights, there was one member of staff at reception who spoke (very little English), and explained we were not able to pay with card (didn’t explain why) We were originally given a room where there was a leak in the bathroom so I spoke with the above mentioned member of staff, we were told his ‘friend’ was going to come in 5 minutes, about an hour had passed and no one had come, so I went to reception to find out that that particular receptionist was no longer there, and asked for the room to be changed. The new room we were in had a leaking sink in the bathroom, did not look like it has been cleaned, as there were dark long hairs on the floor (for reference none of us have dark long hair) and on the sheets, the duvets were left on the floor in the closet, but the cherry on top was that the window had a very clear view of the supply closet, and there was no window looking out (despite the fact that we were offered a room with a view of town) None of the other members of staff spoke any English either. The hotel seemed quite busy during our stay and some of the guests in the hotel smoked in the hallway at night, as all the smoke was coming into the room, which of course couldn’t be ventilated due to the lack of working windows. When we were looking for a hotel there were a lot of good reviews on a variety of websites so I can only say please don’t trust them, I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
