We chose this chateau because of its location on our two day drive through the Loire Valley to see chateaus and the France countryside. The room was very nice. The location is confusing if you are using a GPS, the road does not seem to exist. The grounds are lovely as are the many lounges in the chateau.

The Château- La Rozelle was a quite lovely place to stay in late May of 2025. The check-in was quick and cordial with English not being a problem at all. We booked dinner at check-in and chose 7:00pm. This worked out well because we could choose a nice table outside. The view just got lovelier as the evening progressed. The room was very nice with fine bedding and exquisite view from the window. The hotel in set in a lovely forested area in the small town of Cellettes. Some of the French people from the area appear to like to stay and eat here as well. It is within about 30 minutes of Chambord Chateau and 20 minutes of Cheverney. Lovely areas of rural France to drive through. Dinner was quite nice with reasonable prices for starter, main and dessert. Had a nice local Sancerre wine with the meal. The servers at dinner were excellent and spoke English quite well. think things must have changed since previous reviews. We thought everything was quite nice and would go back.

Hôtel situé dans un bel écrin de verdure - très calme - nous y avons passé une nuit - nous nous réjouissions de prendre notre petit déjeuner dans cette belle véranda dans un cadre bucolique mais c’était sans compter le bruit d’une tondeuse à gazon dès 8 h 30 ! Difficilement acceptable pour un 4*…

Fabulous meal - one of the best I have had (and there have been many). Delicious flavours. Lovely attentive staff. Good atmosphere. Lovely restaurant in a great building to visit even if not staying at the hotel. 5 out of 5 for presentation and flavours.

Nous avons passé une nuit très agréable dans ce domaine magnifique, qui est à la fois agréable et très bien entretenu. La chambre triple mansardée dans laquelle nous avons séjourné était parfaite : spacieuse, confortable et d'une propreté irréprochable. De plus, le petit déjeuner servi dans le salon d'hiver était très copieux sans être ostentatoire, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Nous avons également profité du spa très relaxant après une journée de voyage. La proximité des châteaux de Blois et Chambord est parfaite pour des visites culturelles. Je recommande vivement cet endroit pour un séjour paisible et relaxant.
