I rarely write reviews, let alone a bad one, but I think other travelers need to be warned. Jessica and her staff are wonderful. They are attentive, kind, and responsive. They helped with my luggage, getting me moved to another room, and even exchanging money. The hotel has beautiful views of the ocean and is clean, though overall it does need an update. However, they have two big problems. One is bugs, which I suspect are bed bugs as I was severely bitten throughout the night on my neck and shoulders. When I mentioned it to the hotel, they ignored me. Then they charged two different credit cards for the same nightly charge. I contacted them via WhatsApp and email (they did not answer my phone calls) and waited for over a week. They did nothing and never responded to my email. I was forced to call American Express and dispute the charge. All of this ruined a trip where I spent almost $500 for one weekend. Hotels in Mexico are notorious for disparaging guests when they write a bad review. My stay was great. But in not rectifying the duplicate charge, the hotel tried to steal from me. In all my travels in Mexico, this has never happened. Very disappointing.
